5 stars for being open during the Harvey aftermath. No place open but Mytiburger. Staff busting ss to feed those who braved the roads. They were out of beef and buffalo burgers but that was okay with us. They said it would take 1.5 hours but it was about 30 min. The turkey burger wasn't bad for this beef lover. Much thanks to staff for coming in, providing normalcy, and comfort food. Will definitely return for their wonderful burgers and fries!
Been pretty close to 30 yrs since my last visit...a friend surprised me for lunch. Same place, new owner but quality & quantity the same!
Had the BLT & sweet potato fries! Pure awesomeness, crispy fries & HOT, the bacon was crumbled instead of strips made for a great sandwich along with the crispy lettuce & tomato. Tried the fried pickles too!
Oak Forests MytiBurger did not disappoint. In a world filled with franchises it’s kept its original feel and decor while cooking up juicy hamburgers and grilled chicken sandwiches. The onion rings were generous in size and I finished it off by having a macedonia cookie. Customers came and went while I sat and enjoyed the day. The staff were very polite and I will be back soon. Pay them a visit if you’re in the area
Great burger at a very affordable price. The only complaint was that the burger was a little dry. The fried pickles were pretty good but had too much breading. They had a nice spicy kick though from something in the batter. Everything that I saw looked good as well. The staff was incredibly friendly and worked quick to get out my order.
Drove one hour to try their cheese burger and they didn’t disappoint. Prices are excellent.
A good burger with exceptional service.
For around 6 bucks the burger was good and hit the spot. Very hearty buns that held up well through the whole meal. Good tomato slices too. What stands out even more is while getting slammed with viral business way past their capacity they were very polite and still turning out burgers at a hero's pace. This place feels like it is cut out of the past and is a slice of home! Make sure to stop in If you're in the area and want some food!
Get those 43rd St tots. And that chili dog is amazing. It's a cool little place with nice folks.
Best burgers in town and I enjoyed the family service.
Had the avocado Burger with everything on it and enjoyed every bite.
I love this place! The burgers are done just right. Nothing fancy, just a damn good burger.
The pickle chips and sweet potato fries are also excellent.
Friendly service. It was busy, so there was a wait, but the woman taking our order let us know up front. The food was on time. It was hot & good. Not the best burgers we've ever had, but certainly not the worst either. It was a good value for the price. The milk shake was excellent! The only reason I rated the atmosphere as 4 stars was because the a/c was blowing extremely cold right on us, and it was uncomfortable. We'll definitely go again though.
This underrated gem of a burger joint located in the Oak Forest area of Houston has been serving up some tasty Texas burgers since 1967. I'm a native Houstonian and today was my first visit to Mytiburger. I must say, this old time burger joint made my day. I had a cheeseburger, fries, and an ice tea. After finishing my cheeseburger, I knew that this would be the first of many more visits to this place. The dining room is small, with just a handful of booths, but the taste is big. And I mustn't forget about the forget the friendly service. Thank you Mytiburger! You have a new fan.
Burger was good. Fries were done but no crispness. Staff was nice. Limited seating. Very clean. Lots of parking and they were very accommodating to our car club. It's basically a blast from the past and a nice change of pace.
