Great place. We wanted to sit outside and watch the Sunday night football but only one TV worked and was far from the heater. The bartender was very slow🥴 and at one point gave us the wrong liquor even though we were only ordering shots🤦🏾♀️. Our waitress was great, the food was very yummy but after the appetizers we were to full to eat our entrees lol. I would go again but order my liquor in 2s to avoid the wait.
The food was super tasty and had so much flavor! The waitress was very kind and attentive. The patio was great for hosting our friends birthday! We really enjoyed the voodoo rolls and the brunch punch! Will be coming back to try more from the menu 😁
For a Saturday Evening! It was Good music, good food ,good drinks We didn’t make reservations but they did find seating for us , the waitress she check on us regularly, They main entrees doesn't start until 5pm ,I ordered the voodoo roll and seafood pasta the atmosphere was great .
This place has a great vibe. I met with friends and family there for me and my best friends' birthday. Great food, good music, pleasant atmosphere, and professional staff.
This was my 3rd time at Phil and Derek’s and I was not disappointed. My daughter and I enjoyed everything… food, drinks, ambience, and live music was excellent! Kiland, singer on Friday nights, wonderful voice, kind and very personable. I bought my husband a bottle of his pinot Grigio, looking forward to tasting. The bottle is so beautiful! Thank you for an extraordinary experience. We truly enjoyed ourselves.

This was my wife and I first time here. She heard about it from someone else and decided to do a date night. Upon entering the building, the DJ (DJ Moto) had it popping. Ms Dana or Diane, my apologies if I got your name incorrect, but she is a sweetheart. We had reservations and arrived a little earlier just in case it was traffic. She allowed us to be seated. Our waitress Cassie was very attentive and friendly. She checked on us often and cleaned up anything we emptied quickly. Now, let the chunky girl come out...The food and drinks were amazing! My wife had the Shrimp and Grits and a Ole Fashion... I had the Dee's Secret and the Bayou Catfish. When I say chef's kiss, that's what I mean! I've had my fair share of Catfish and Dirty Rice, but this was phenomenal! So phenomenal I placed a To-Go order when we were done. I can't wait to visit this establishment again, esonce the renovations are complete. 10/10 would definitely recommend! Be sure if you're going as a group to do a reservation so they can accommodate you.
This place was recommended to me by someone from my Instagram. I stopped in before I went to the airport. I was visiting Houston for the weekend. I would definitely come back ! I went by myself. My server was so nice and attentive (the bartenders too). I had the red velvet chicken and waffles. I was not disappointed! 😋 Eventually a DJ came in, but their music selection is good without the DJ too. I’d come back for sure ! 😊
My first time at this facility, celebrating my bday. The atmosphere was great and the DJ played GREAT music! The staff was very friendly. While we were there, a staff member had a siezure & staff were very attentive to his needs. Great teamwork! My daughter & husband ordered chicken & waffles. The chicken was undercooked and the grease needed to be changed, but flavourful. The pork chops & grits were good. The shrimp & Crawfish etoufee was good! Additionally, the brunch punch was on point!
The new Phil and Derek's is beautiful. The food was full of flavor, well plated, and delicious. The drinks were top tier. The atmosphere was grown and sexy, classy, yet multifaceted at the same time. The live entertainer Kiland "Mr. Houston" was phenomenal and is there every Friday night!! They have plenty of parking, offer valet, a photographer who goes around taking professional photos that they frame that can purchased for those special occasions , date nights etc, , they also have a patio for all the stogie lovers and a dj on the adjacent side of the restaurant and live entertainment venue. They have everything you can think of having for a lovely night out with your special someone. I love this spot! I highly recommend everyone to come enjoy !
The food at this place is absolutely delicious, and it reminds me so much of New Orleans. From the vibrant music to the lively atmosphere, everything about it captures the essence of that incredible city. I'm definitely looking forward to returning for another amazing experience.
