Have been here for lunch and dinner over the years...and it’s convenient in a pinch. Everything I’ve tried was tasty and fresh, but I can’t say that any particular offering stands out as my favorite in Htown. I enjoyed the crunchy salad today, particularly the light dressing and the buttered roll was delish, but the added chicken was bland...not what I expected for a rotisserie joint. My friend enjoyed her pizza and salad and we both agreed the price was fair for the portions and preparation.

This place was recommended to me by a coworker today. I told her I wanted a salad and she said they were really good and fresh. She didn't lie! I ordered the Mediterranean Chicken Salad and man, it was tasty! Spring mix, tomato, LOTS of chicken, kalmata olives, PESTO, green onion, and a vinaigrette . It was so delicious and the price was pretty good for such an elevated salad! Oh, it also came with a warm garlic roll that was awesome. The staff was super friendly and the place was really clean and fresh. I will definitely come back and try their other items!

I really enjoyed their vegetarian options.
The Ravioli was fresh and very tasty.
I also thought the Kids School Pizza was a fun throw back.
The Gelato was perfect!
I was surprised though that the bread was absent from dinner.
Overall, definitely will be back.

I visit Houston about once a year and make this place a stop nearly every time. Great food and pricing, with a causal atmosphere. No one was unhappy with their meal. Only complaint was the garlic mashed potatoes really had no flavor at all. Everything else was awesome. Love the roasted lemon chicken!

Love it!!! My husband and I have lunch here at least twice a week. We're never disappointed. Delicious Italian flavor with an American twist. The personnel are wonderful and efficient. Very clean. When we go the girls are always brewing fresh tea :). Highly recommend for catering. The food is hot and fresh and they don't skimp either. Simply Delicious !

Absolutely heartbroken to hear this evening from my husband that the W. Holcomb location closed. I think they may have lost the lease to that lovely location. 😢The workers there were always so attentive and the food was spectacular. Things surely changed after the owner passed. It’s hard to believe they are charging for a roll that was always complementary with the meal according to another review. Using covid as an excuse for greed is truly a low blow. Hopefully they will straighten their act out. I will miss the smiling faces and the lovely Italian atmosphere there. I hope when I visit the Montrose location, I won’t be disappointed 😔. The cooks there were the best. If any of the workers check this page, thank you for all the lovely meals you prepared and served my husband and I for many, many years.

Stepped in on a Tuesday for lunch after running a few errands in town and took advantage of the sunny day by sitting outside. I ordered the lasagna and my husband ordered the rigatoni rustica. There were a few chewy bits in the lasagna but overall tasted great. The rigatoni was delicious even though the sauce was a bit runny. We indulged by ordering a mimosa pitcher. Service was great and pricing is fair! This place has been our safe place to get a quick bite to eat and get our Italian fix in.

Casual semi fast food Italian Fare. Order at counter and server brings out to table.
Salmon Salad is very good.
Wine is reasonably priced.
Desserts are over priced, and served in small plastic cups. Just like we got in our grade school cafeteria or hospital.
They do have an outdoor patio.
Ample parking.

Pronto Cucinino is primarily known as go to lunch location for workers in the Montrose. They have excellent food and incredibly reasonable pricing for the quality. They're also very fast since they are basically counter service with a cashier. I highly recommend the Chicken Parmesan or roasted chicken but honestly you can't go wrong since the menu is excellent.

Exactly what's promised on the door - no stress Italian food. The ambiance is typical rustic Italian. The food is good - nothing too fancy, but it is true Italian food, not Americanized. I had the Rigatoni Rustica and it was delicious. Prices were very reasonable - great value!

Large group of Kay's Friends enjoyed our lunch before the show at Stages. We all enjoyed the food and the good service.

I love their House favorite dish and when I go there, I always order the usual. Real Italian food. I would rather pick them over Olive Garden. Olive Garden is really gross lol. Shouts out to Pronto Cucinino!! ❤️

Very good authentic quality Italian food. $$. Reliable, consistent, professional customer service, beautiful restaurant. Just like grandma makes at home.

Poor customer service. Cook could not get a simple order of salmon medium well correct after two failed attempts. Finally, I requested a refund and at no time did the manager apologize for my terrible dining experience. There are far too many restaurants in Houston to patronize; that being said, I will not be patronizing Pronto Cucinino again.

Fast, friendly, and delicious. Get the rotisserie chicken!!!!

UPDATE: my friend and I both got food poisoning 3 hours after eating here.
this place is a ridiculous excuse for a restaurant.... everything was terrible. I had pasta primavera and my friend had rigatoni pomodoro with meatballs. her rigatoni was UNDERCOOKED by 4 minutes. not even al dente. had to send it back because it wasn't edible. got it back, it was still undercooked. "bread" was burned. I didn't expect this place to be great (obviously) but I thought that it would at least be edible/not get me sick after paying $25.
