This was my first time here and I loved everything we ordered. Their tea is excellent! Customer service also great. Will definitely be back.
Every week I consider moving back to Houston just for Tan Tan. The quality of food is excellent, the price you pay is a steal. They have everything from more traditional fare to classic American-Asian dishes, like sesame and general tso's chicken. If you're in the mood for an appetizer (to share), you have to get the House Special Rice Cake. Eat it with some Sriracha and soy sauce 👌
Tan Tan is an amazing restaurant. The atmosphere, the food, and customer service are all great. I ordered the Buddha Delight, and it was delicious and easy to share. The food came very quickly and our waiter was excellent. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area. There are options for vegans and vegetarians as well. (The Buddha Delight is vegan!)
This is my go to Vietnamese restaurant. The food is always great. The service was also good for an Asian restaurant. The rice cake is the best here.

I arrived at this location after wandering the area a bit to find some food. There were a few restaurants around but they are scattered about.
I wanted some Asian food but didn't want to drive to Bellaire. Behold, tan tan, Westheimer edition.
This location seems nicer however it's difficult to put it ahead of the Bellaire location. Perhaps there were many nights of drinking that would make me a bit biased but if I had to choose between the two, I would pick the Bellaire location.
But that's besides the point. The food and service here was great and I will be back if I'm in this area.
TanTan is my favorite Chinese restaurant.
The Mongolian Beef and Chicken Fried Rice are my goto's. I also always ask them to make it extra extra spicy (which they never do) and ask for extra saute sauce which is so good. It's awesome.
There are waiters who are awesome (one guy who use to work there who I always asked for was Henry. Henry was the man.) and some waiters who act like they are miserable and have no sense of customer service.
I enjoy eating here every time I go. Will continue to go and try something different. Very good. A must go.
Good food and good price. Overall service was good, but I feel like their portions have shrunk and I have been going to tan tan for quite some time.
Great vegetarian options. Not 100% sure if vegan friendly or not but they said the food I ordered was dairy free, at least.
First time but not my last. The food was great service was efficient and prompt. Quaint little place. I will learn to use chopsticks like a pro yet! Lol
