Such a great selection. Very happy to have found this place. Very Big place and the bread is delicious! It definitely is pricey but if your looking for the imported stuff you miss you may definitely find it here. Alot of stuff is worth the price.

Last Saturday, I went to Phoenicia Specialty Foods at Westheimer Houston, TX to pick up some olives from the deli. But as soon as I walked into the store, I was immediately overwhelmed by all that it had to offer. The fruits and vegetables section was overflowing with fresh produce from all over the world. I saw exotic fruits like mangosteen, rambutan, and dragon fruit, as well as familiar favorites like apples, oranges, and bananas. The vegetables section was just as impressive, with a wide variety of leafy greens, root vegetables, and herbs. I also took a walk through the butcher shop, where I saw a variety of fresh meats, including beef, lamb, chicken, and seafood. The butchers were happy to answer my questions and help me choose the perfect cut of meat for my needs. Next, I headed to the deli, where I found a wide selection of prepared foods, including hummus, baba ghanoush, tabouli, falafel, and shawarma. I was also excited to see that the deli had a variety of olives, which is what I had originally come to the store to buy. After picking up my olives, I decided to browse the rest of the store. I found a section with a variety of international foods, including spices, sauces, and snacks. I was especially interested in the section with Middle Eastern foods, as I am a big fan of the cuisine. I ended up spending a lot of time at Phoenicia Specialty Foods, and I could have easily spent more time exploring all that it has to offer. I was impressed by the variety of fresh produce, meats, and prepared foods available. I was also excited to find a wide selection of international foods, including many items that I cannot find at my local grocery store. I highly recommend Phoenicia Specialty Foods to anyone looking for a unique and exciting shopping experience. Whether you are looking for fresh produce, high-quality meats, prepared foods, or international ingredients, you are sure to find what you need at Phoenicia.

Best place for mediterranean/Middle Eastern food. I found some of the best beef steak meat here. There a lot of choices for bread. They have a big bakery section too. All halal food.

We always have to stop here when passing thru Texas heading back home to Florida. Such a unique store with a wide selection of specialty foods and groceries, we love it...it's so exciting to just walk around! From the burgers in the restaurant, wraps, desserts...everything we've tried was absolutely delicious! Friendly staff with excellent customer service skills.

Man, Houston's got some amazing grocery stores and Phoenicia is by far the top 2 for specialty grocers. Everything is fresh, including their baked goods, breads, meats, and delis. I love the aromatics as soon as you walk through the door. Come hungry!

Thanks Yusuf for helping me pick out some makdous that I drove all over Houston to find. He was patient and was very knowledgeable about the products and helped me find everything I was looking for. Giant well-lit and stylish store with in-house bakery/cafe. Will be coming back to again and again to stock up!

I have truly enjoyed this place for more years than I can remember. I recently took a friend here who is visiting from DC. He is Afghan and grew up in Germany. He was amazed at the diverse selections here. He was excited to find so many products from many countries that he enjoys and has missed. This store is extremely clean and well stocked with more goodies than you can imagine. I love the bakery section here. Not to mention the cheese and meats departments. The range of confectionery and chocolates is always a dangerous temptation. The only warning I have to speak of for this store is to be prepared to spend money. It's very difficult not to give in to the many delicious options!!

What an amazing gourmet international specialty store. The food market is huge with thousands of products from more than 50 countries. This is clearly a foodie heaven. Their fresh baked pitas and artisan breads are excellent. You can also find European and Middle Eastern pastries, boutique wines, my favorites are the Hungarian wines, quality meets and a huge variety of dairy products from kefir, labneh and cheeses. Meat, sausage and bacon. An enormous selection of spices, they carry Hungarian paprika (yippiee), teas, coffe and houseware. My favorite pickled veggies, have a wonderful olive bar. I can spend half a day shopping and exploring here and not get bored. Everything is clean and organized and clearly labeled. They have curbside pickup and delivery. Phoenicia is an experience, a phenomenon itself and there is nothing like it.

Phoenicia Specialty Foods is a unique import store that offers a wide selection of exotic foods, their pita bread is fresh and it’s fun to see it come off the elaborate conveyer belt. I highly recommend you try the Hamas, it’s got some zing to it!
