Great beers, pub food and big-screen TV
We came here for Sunday lunch beers, bar food and the football divisional playoffs in January 2020. There was a great choice of brews, we enjoyed the bar food, and the TV coverage was good. A recommended “real ale” pub.
Love this place! Lots of drink options and great weekend music. This bar is located in a very convenient area. Recommend Tatiana as a server! Very attentive!!
I was spending a weekend in Houston and a friend told me about Watson's house of Ales. We ended up going for some food and drinks The chicken tenders were awesome! The service and beer selection were great! The best part was my server Tati, she was super friendly and very attentive to us. She cracked some jokes with us and kept us laughing the whole night! They also made some great suggestions on different beers. Definitely going back!!

Very cool bar and a nice sized outdoor patio. My group had a lot of fun and we had Tati as our server. She took very good care of us, make sure you ask for her!
Love this place. Love the outdoor patio, the selection of beers and foods but particularly I love the wait staff! My favorite is Sophie Wolfson! She is by far the friendliest, funniest and most attentive of them all. Every time I go back to Watson's I make sure that I get her section because I don't want anybody else but her waiting on me! She's that good! In fact, ask for her when you go in next
time.. She will definitely treat you right!
I love this place. They have live music, a fantastic patio, good food (try the fish & chips), friendly staff (ask for Tati), and great drinks with a nice laid back atmosphere. Everything you need to unwind with a couple friends after a long day. Or do like me, grab a couple coworkers stop by here after work and network!
Best outdoor patio seating in west Houston for sure! They have a huge beer, wine and liquor selection and a very attentive wait staff. They do live music outside all weekend - and they have TVs outside to watch the game. The food is good, like the club, burgers are awesome and fries rock! Chips and queso is okay but the cod strips and chicken tenders are the best! Eat them as a meal they're so good! Spinach artichoke dip also awesome!
The service is great!!!! The onion rings and fish sandwich are impeccable!!!!

A classic spot with a great location right next to the freeway.
Met a friend for lunch and a beer, and it was pretty good, but the beer menu was pretty slim, and the food was aight.
Hummus was pretty good, but the veggies weren’t as fresh as I’d expect, and the sandwich was pretty good too.
Overall service was kind and attentive. I’ll be back.
I have been to Watson's over the years and have always enjoyed it. Their food is pretty good for bar food. You should definitely give their burgers a go! The drinks are good and I love they have a nice draft selection. Personally, I love their patio the most. It's a large space with plenty of seating! There is often live music on the patio, as well. Great place to hang!
I always enjoy my time here and it's a go-to for me on a Saturday or Sunday for brunch after the dog park, but there wait staff can be pretty hit or miss. They have a good beer selection and beautiful patio area. The food's usually pretty good, but a little questionable as to the portion size you will receive. The brunch elementary burger is a nice deal. It's a great place to relax with good friends. Don't bring your uptight people here.
This place has the BEST outdoor patio for drinking and relaxing! I love coming here for day drinking on a Saturday. They have plenty of tables and staff working. There is a lot of seating. The food is really good too! I love their fish & chips and their Reuben is incredible. Probably one of the best I’ve ever had. They throw a wicked St. Patrick’s Day party that usually starts at 11 am for the morning lunch crowd but goes until 2 am for the later crowd who want to come and have a grand time. They have bands, bag pipers, crawfish, corned beef and cabbage, green beer, and there’s no cover charge. Just first come first serve. The staff is friendly and pretty quick even when jam packed busy. We’ve come here for St Patrick’s at least 4 times now and always have a blast! Inside they have a big bar and more seating as well as pool tables and dart boards. Conveniently located at Hwy 6 and I-10. Check it out!
Nice patio which is dog friendly. Staff brought a bowl of water out, that was nice.
Nice place but the beer selection could use some improvement as its the usual suspects. The food was pretty good though, we got the sampler, wings and humus which all disappeared.
Very nice ambiance for a late weekday night with a good band playing. We ordered the humus appetizer. It was ok, but there is no need to make it that fancy: humus is good when simple.
Our waiter was helpful and checked on us multiple times.
We sat outside on the patio - quite a warm evening in the summer, but not too bad, surprisingly.
The beer, cocktails and fish and chips were all excellent.
The patio is dog friendly, so next time the lab comes too - if it isn't too hot.
I look forward to trying more dishes from the menu for sure.
Cool local neighborhood joint. I’ve never been here during evening time but stopped by for lunch. They have quite an extensive menu. Was feeling some fish and chips, yup got just that! These were tasty but a little bit overcooked. Their homemade sauces was great! Would love to come back and try their happy hour or other specials one day.
Yes! Better than anyone else is doing it. Awesome burger & fries. Very nice inside. Great service.
