Bluewater Seafood

I ordered catfish and chicken strips I'm not much of a seafood person but my wife wanted to try the place. Catfish was really good lightly breaded I forgot to take a pic to share. However the chicken strips or whatever those were need help Long with the hush puppies. Neither were very good not bad but definitely not good. Wife enjoyed her food but said she would not order that again and would try something else next time. I think she ordered mariners platter . Id definitely like to visit again and try something else myself I believe it's worth another try. Oh I ordered my son a cheeseburger to go I later asked him how it was he said very good. Just my two cents... Give it a try for yourself if you haven't been yet....

My wife loves the large crawfish and my fav is the shrimp gumbo. Special shout out to Kyra and Jeff for the great service Friday night 5th of May! Even though the place was packed our table was clean and we didn't have to wait long. Been to this location more than 15 times. Last visit 09-30 at 3:30 pm, table 22. Jordan H was our server and she did a great job taking care of us!

I normally don't leave reviews, but after having eaten here for the first time, I felt I had to. I'm originally from New Orleans but have lived in Houston for over 25 years and I consistently find it hard to find good New Orleans cuisine here in Houston. I frequently go out to eat at different restaurants only to be disappointed in the quality and taste of their so called New Orleans food. So, when I ordered the seafood gumbo at Bluewater Seafood, my expectations were not high based on other seafood gumbo's I've eaten. After the first bite, I was blown away. They nailed it in every aspect of seafood gumbo. Anyone who has any knowledge of gumbo knows that it's all based on the roux. If you don't have a good roux, then you don't have a good gumbo and Bluewater Seafood knows what makes a good gumbo. I have to give props to the bartender on Friday night as well. He has a great personality and makes some awesome drinks. I will definitely be back to try some of the other things on the menu. Thanks Bluewater!

Best seafood close to Cypress by far. The Mariner's platter is just amazing!! My girlfriend always gets the oysters, and they are big, fresh and always on point. Have been here at least 10 times, always great. Referred several friends and they all have raved about the quality in comparison to Floyds and BB's. Night and day.

Colleagues introduced me to this seafood establishment a few times. The service was really great and food was good 8 out of 10 for the fried fish combo dish. The restaurant has always been clean 9 out of 10. The blackened fish, fried rice and green beans was fantastic. I LOVED the green beans. One day I want to try the cocktails on the menu. I will continue to come to this establishment and try other dishes. They are in the process of adding a nice big patio outdoors.

I want to begin by expressing my satisfaction with the service and atmosphere of the establishment. Upon entering during lunchtime, the captivating aroma permeating the air instantly caught my attention. Given that it was our first visit to this place, I was confident that my family and I were in for a delightful lunch experience based on the enticing scent alone. Overall, the experience was fantastic, and we would certainly consider returning in the future. However, I do have one complaint to address at this moment. Regrettably, the water we were served unquestionably tasted as if it had come straight from the tap. Considering the total bill for lunch, which amounted to nearly $70 including the tip, I hope they can rectify this issue promptly.

Just went for my Birthday. They have the best crab and the Pina Colada was amazing!! Highly Recommended!! Price was 28.00 for 3 crab clusters and sides, could only finish 1 & 1/2 as they were big for snow crab. Crab special running the whole month of May. Atmosphere was busy and loved the music playing and service🙂 Ill definitely be back!! New favorite place!!
