Came for a date night. Overall experience is exactly what you would expect from an upscale place. The service was attentive without being overbearing. Sparkling wine, an amuse bouche, and a constantly refilled bread platter welcomed us to our table. The truffle pasta and ossobuco were cooked perfectly with both tasting just salty enough and the texture of the risotto was just right. The chef came to the table after the meal to check how everything was. Highly recommend.

Amazing experience overall. Food is delicious, my favorite was the Branzino. They also had a great selection of wines and cocktails. The staff is incredible and takes care of all your needs. The atmosphere is very relaxing and calming and very romantic for a special occasion. There is valet parking available as well as self parking. Highly recommend if you are looking for an elegant romantic atmosphere with delicious food and great service!

Stellar Italian restaurant. The chef is from Piemonte Italia. His menu and his staff's execution of that menu is so very on point. We are lucky to have chefs and restaurants such as this in Houston. Best scallops I've had in years. Amazing squid ink and lobster. And the deserts, wow. Stellar afagado too.

An obscure upscale Italian restaurant tucked inside Hotel Granduca in Uptown Houston. Small quaint restaurant with maximum capacity of 40 patrons. Beautiful restaurant quiet ambiance. Perfect restaurant for a nice date night. The service, quality of food and the presentation justify the cost of dining in here. We ordered the sous vide octopus, the 2 course dinner and the 3 course dinner. The chef comes out and visit each table. He shares a little bit about the dishes. The rissotto with veal is full of flavor but on the heavier side for a meal. The squid ink spaghetti with lobster sauce made on the list of my favorites. The branzino is definitely the highlight of our dinner. It’s served with almond cheesecake but surprisingly these 2 items work well together. My favorite part of dinner is, of course, the dessert. We had the tiramisu w gold sheets on it and smoking affogato!! Amazing! I highly recommend this this restaurant for the food and the experience!

Alba is spectacular. It’s truly special to see a chef who cares so much about his craft and who comes by to talk to you about his cuisine and culture. Elegant ambiance, great depth of flavor, unique menu, and unrivaled service from all of the staff. Also, a separate vegetarian menu with excellent variety and plenty of choices was a huge plus. We will undoubtedly be back again.

My wife and I went here for their high tea service for my birthday and we had a blast. It was on the pricey side but you get friendly staff, ample tea and champagne (be prepared to use the restroom a few times) and delightful plates of food. It may not look like you are eating a lot but neither my wife nor myself were able to make it through all of the desserts.
