Been coming here a really long time and it’s still good. They’ve recently done a light makeover of the menu and the inside, and it looks great. What I noticed today was a big step up in their margarita game. Pictured is a habanero strawberry margarita on the rocks and it was fantastic.

I've only been twice and it's already one of my favorite taco places to go to with the kids. The Fajita is cooked to your specifications and top notch, the tortillas are homemade, and the rice has great flavor. Really good all around! Last but not least, The kids love the wishing well in the front.

I ordered a gallon of the Mexican rice for a taco party I was having. Their rice is the best. It has corn, carrots, and chicken in the rice with a tomato base. It is always a great flavor! I'm finishing every ounce of this rice. I fell in love with this rice when I first got it with the Ala Mexicana omelette. It is a great pairing with any dish.

One of my old favorite, great priced, local stops!
Brought a buddy with me who’s never been to any of the Goodie CO’s establishments.
The host was wonderful! She helped us decide and educated my friend on the menu on the top choices.
He actually didn’t want a burger but we both were able to hype him up on it. In the end he was blown away at how good the food was. How clean and flavorful the burger was. The tenderness of the fajitas, the rich flavor of the chicken! With a little salsa on top, we were in heaven.
You really can’t go wrong with anything here. They know what they are doing, using fresh ingredients, and powerful flavors!
Will always be returning for more.
Thank you again for a wonderful meal.

I don't write reviews often, but this place deserves a great one. I hosted a 9 year old soccer team party here tonight. The food was awesome, and the staff was so welcoming and gracious. Everyone went above and beyond to make it a great experience for the entire team and their family. Great margaritas and tacos as well!

Awesome, mesquite grilled combo is the best, the people are friendly and the food is fresh and cooked to near perfection.
The Combo has chicken and steak, I get mine medium which leaves it nice and tender and juicy.
I'm not a fan of TresLeche HOWEVER I LOVE IT HERE at Goode Co.
They combine the best of authentic Texas BBQ with Mexican dishes and you just can't go wrong.
Even my kids beg to eat here as often as we can which is usually weekly.
Every guest I've had visit (business or personal) we bring here and they all want to return on every visit.

Fantastic place. There is no tall street sign for it if you’re looking while driving on Kirby, it’s the building where the sign for their seafood place is located. Perhaps a bit confusing, but worth it to find this place. Yummy food, great service, fun eating area. Definitely worth trying if you haven’t yet. Taste could rival any other Tex-Mex in the Houston area.

Again, again, and again, I find myself comparing Houston to Dallas (where I currently live) Houston restaurants are just better, more original, head and shoulders better than Dallas restaurants

Fajita and Taco Craving!

Delicious chicken and fajita tacos, excellent service and a beautiful atmosphere. Overall wonderful lunch experience!

The food at this restaurant was great and the prices are very reasonable. Will definitely be visiting again and will recommend to all of my friends.

Gone downhill... I hadn't been in quite some time so I was looking forward to the breakfast that I remembered. Unfortunately it was a busy Sunday and the food was way below par. The kitchen was obviously rushing to keep up with the crowd. As a result, the bacon on my egg dish was not fully rendered and very greasy. The tortillas were pre-wrapped in parchment paper (for quick serving) and were completely soggy and greasy. If you're Mexican place, the one thing you have to nail is the tortillas. The best places in town serve the tortillas in a tortilla dish with the top right off the press, which allows moisture to escape allowing for the tortillas to be tender. Promptly at 12:30 PM, table servers were discontinued, and a 100 decibel loudspeaker took over, issuing repeated, "YOUR ORDER IS READY" announcements. Truly obnoxious... by this point we had had enough. Unfortunate experience from a place with so much potential. The details really do matter.

Just ate breakfast and had the pecan waffles with a side of bacon. They are the best waffles in town hands down. The fajitas and hamburgers are also a great choice. Every time I come here it never disappoints!

Breakfast was a very EXPENSIVE disappointment.

Too Much to Say. I've been eating breakfast here for years. The Buck Fever is the perfect breakfast dish.

Last week, I went in there for dinner. I couldn't remember the last time I had been there at night. I ordered the mesquite grilled chicken breast burger with mozzarella cheese and bacon. Holy crap! That was the best chicken I've ever had in my whole entire life!

OVERPRICED!!! It was good food, but not for what they charge, if you're in the mood for Mexican food I reccomend Pappasitos. Their food is much better and is priced fairly well for its quality.

I walked in to the side entrance and had to find my way over to the ordering counter which was off of the other entrance. I ordered a Dos Equis (lager) and a half order of chicken fajita nachos. You actually pick up your own drink from the beer coolers and they were out of Dos lager. The staff was very helpful in finding me a beer that would suit my taste. The nachos were an appropriate size but nothing to be amazed with.

Food was okay but not for the price. My wife and I had a burger each with fries and a drink. We added the obvious stuff like cheese and bacon and the tab was $32. Pretty high for two burger baskets. Live and learn, prob won't be back again. With competition like 5 guys and others, they need to lower their prices.

It Ain't Always Goode!. The breakfasts are really excellent, especially the bacon & ham riddled hash browns and the Venison sausage. The rib-eye in the steak & eggs is also very good, as are the biscuits and the pecan waffles. The only downside to breakfast here is the cost.

However, the Mexican food has taken a dive; the enchiladas are much overpriced and no longer good. The nachos and fajitas have also declined in quality and increased in price. The hamburgers have remain the same (except price), but are no match for many of the better hamburger joints/tucks, etc.

Excellent breakfast. We dined here for breakfast and found it to be excellent. I had the mesquite grilled catfish with eggs...very good smoke and grilled flavor. The wife had fajitas and eggs, also mesquite grilled. The coffee was hot as it should be, not lukewarm as in some restaurants. The meal was accompanied with either fresh baked bisquits (with real butter - not oleo) or Texas toast that was grilled and hot. The menu was quite varied and everything looked tempting. A positive was the manager, Randy, who made his rounds twice while we were there checking on customer satisfaction. The orders are taken at the counter so ordering is fast. Patio dining is available. Also while we were there the staff made an announcement that Texas Monthly awarded them as one of the top 40 best places in Texas to eat breakfast. Nice compliment and certainly deserved. We will return.

Some times they don't use a gun!. Sixteen dollars for two dried out enchilada is simply robbery in Houston.

Always good. Simple and good food. The service is always great and treat us well, they remembered us and took good care of us even after not going for a while. A simple self-service place but the food is always good and the atmosphere is great and relaxing. The breakfast is just as good as the dinner and I am never embarassed to take a guest here no matter what time of the day. Recommend.

I had to see what all the fuss was about. I went with a friend on a late sunday morning for brunch. Parking was slim picking so we kind of made our own space lol thankfully there were a lot more tables than parking spaces. You walk through the restaurant to a window where you order. I placed one for huevos and chorizo and my friend huevos and jamon. Both were an excellent choice. I just wish they gave me more than two tortias.. They have a big beer selection so my friend chose one but me, I went for a large cinnamon chocolate shake. And I was not dissapointed :) It was thick like a frosty so you had to eat it with a spoon but the shake hybrid was one of the best ive ever had! And ive had a lot of a lot of shakes in my day. Just saying...

We order cheese and chicken enchiladas and they were terrible. The cheese was not melted at all. It did not taste fresh. I have been to over 50 mexican restaurants in TX and this is by far the worst.

Best of Local Flavor. Best Houstonian joint in the downtown area.

Alright. I got a 1/3 lb burger with cheddar cheese and dressed it with a little mayo, a little mustard, shredded lettuce, and diced onions. The meat was cooked well done, it was completely dry and over-seasoned. The fries though were nicely seasoned and greasy, they were very good. The onion rings were a bit like an unsweeted donut and the batter couldn't stick to the ring.

Killer Burgers!. I wasn't sure about ordering a burger at a taqueria, but I am very glad i did. This was the best burger I have had in a while. Kinda pricey, but I guess you get what you pay for.

Once in a while.... Very casual place to go for mexican
Passepartout-Too-Too
The prices seemed a little high but not outrageous; once we were served, they seemed reasonable for what we got.

GCT was the the first place I ever had pico de gallo on a burger, and at the time, was the best burger in the city, bar none....
