Coming from a huge business meetings all week I actually dressed down in a skull T-shirt & jeans as I hate being in a suit in my off hours. The staff was not phased for even a second. Extremely courteous and professional with absolute white gloving . The menu picks for me were for an appetizer a bowl of seafood gumbo which unbeknownst to the restaurant, I am a seafood culinary specialist. Gumbo was excellent. Well portioned and seasoned perfectly to bring out the taste of the seafood , spice and didn’t make the sausage overkill. I had a main course of the scallops over mushroom risotto with maple glaze from the chef specials and it was a well constructed dish. Scallops were cooked perfectly and risotto was denti & robust.. if I had one criticism of the scallops .. a hint of citrus (squeeze of lime ) would’ve knocked it out of the park, but if thats all I have coming at you then come on .. thats a good thing. Well priced as my bill came with one margarita to $72 bucks . I would pay double for that in NY and be happy. The environment was clean and decorated well .. nothing over the top. I throughly enjoyed my time there.

We visited The Oceanaire Seafood Room for our daughter's sweet 16th birthday. The staff was fantastic and made her special day even more special. They wished her a happy 16th across all of our menus. That meant so much to her. Jack, our waiter, was incredible and so attentive. The food was delicious, even more than delicious. I personally would recommend the fried Lobster (give it a try, you WILL NOT be sorry. OMG!) I also recommend the mac and cheese lobster. Can't wait to go back and try the combination seafood grill platter. Worth every penny. You guys made our little girl feel so special, thank you!
Bring your taste buds with you. Everything here is next level. If you've never had Chicken Fried Lobster, loosen your belt. It's definitely worth it. Make sure to ask for extra truffle honey. You won't regret it. My wife and I love raw oysters, and Oceanaire delivers the flavor. Everything we ate from seared tuna to scallops to lobster was thoughtfully presented and absolutely delicious. DO NOT skip on dessert. The Baked Alaska is from another dimension of flavor. We will definitely be back.
Came here to celebrate a birthday. Every staff member we encountered was so kind and wished the guest of honor a happy birthday.
We had a wonderful experience thanks to Zach. He was very knowledgeable about the menu!! I informed him that I was plant based so he spoke to the chefs to see if they could make a plant based meal for me (which turned out to be delicious) and he did a great job ensuring that we were well taken care of.
Overall the food and service were great. Highly recommend!
This was a nice high end restaurant. Can't say I'll come again if I really want to eat seafood for the price they have. But the staff was wonderful and the food was delicious. Those crab cakes filled me up that's for sure 😄
Very great food and Juan was the absolute best server who made the whole experience 10 times better! He was so attentive and great so we will definitely come back for more!
I hate that I forgot our host name but his recommendations for both food and drink were spot on!! We tried lunch there and the crab was one of the best I've ever had! Steak was very good and tender.. Excellent experience, and we will revisit when we travel back to Houston.
Visited this past weekend. It wasn't too busy compared to the surrounding restaurants. Was seated immediately. Sat on the patio and enjoyed the nice weather. Service seemed slower on the patio. The food was perfect from start to finish. Table shared the gumbo, Calamari, lobster fried rice, brocollini and the snapper. The food was perfect from start to finish minus the brocollini which could have been cooked longer. Service at the restaurant was fantastic. From waiter to management. Incident happened at restaurant and management was swift in ensuring the safety of guests.
Cons: long wait times for food.
Overall experience: great, highly likely to return.
Our waitress was phenomenal. The food was amazing and the atmosphere speaks for itself. I had the perfect date night.
Love this little spot it’s right close to the house to have great dining. It’s not just a Seafood lonely do sells a great steak which I had a ribeye. They were brussels sprout, mushrooms and spinach was amazing. We also had the grits and lobster which was actually surprisingly good and we had the calamari that was slightly disappointing so they took it off I had the lobster bisque that was OK but other than that the environment of the restaurant the atmosphere the restaurant is very lovely and the service was very good and the food was actually really delicious so I definitely recommend it so if your next galleria area definitely check it out however, I was bon appétit

Oceanaire was a great recommendation from a family member to celebrate our 23rd anniversary. Our waiter Sonny made our night fabulous. The food was impressive and worth the cost. Thank you!
Came here for my cousins birthday and we overall were impressed. We put in a reservation and they printed a happy birthday note on our menus. The food and drinks were delicious and the server was great at making recommendations and helping with our food allergies. This place is very nice so I suggest wearing something a little more formal and it would be wonderful for an anniversary, or trying to impress someone special. Also even though it is a seafood restaurant they do have meatless and other meat options.
