Visiting Houston and craved BBQ, after reading the reviews we knew we had to come. Have to say we WE NOT disappointed!! This is the best BBQ ever! Pork ribs... falling off the bone. Brisket wouldn’t stay in my fork because it was so tender. Not to mention the 3 meat salad! I will now have to come back every time I come back to Houston!
This place is amazing! We always take people there when they come to visit. The food is great and you smell like smoked meat for a while after you leave. We are a half hour away and it's worth the drive.
Casual atmosphere with upscale quality food! This is easily the absolute BEST brisket I have ever had! Everything we ate was absolutely fantastic! Their BBQ sauce is the best we have ever had. We are well traveled and have had BBQ in at least 44 States. This is hands-down the best. They do something magical here. I will be back as much as possible for someone who is from Tulsa.
This was my first time here at the brisket house and I must admit I was very impressed. The meat was very tender. The banana pudding was bomb. I’ve never had banana pudding at a restaurant that actually had bananas and cookies and everybody that you ate so kudos to the brisket house on the banana pudding like I said The whole meal was delicious and I do recommend if you’re in the area stop by I would’ve showed you a picture of the banana pudding, but I ate it all so fast I forgot to take a picture
Quaint dining area with a country feel. We came at an off-lunch time (2 pm on Saturday) and it wasn't too hectic, although the staff was preparing quite a few delivery orders - a good sign. This was our first time here and we came after seeing the reviews. The staff greeted us immediately and everyone was friendly and helpful in explaining the menu options. We ordered the TBH platter and it took up two trays. We were surprised about the generous amount of meat we received. We got the cilantro charro beans, Mac and cheese, and baked potato salad - all excellent. The cornbread was also very tasty. We got the ribs, brisket, and sausage. Brisket and ribs were just as tender as you would hope and came apart easily with plastic silverware. The seasoning was excellent and all meat paired well with the BBQ sauce, although everything was also delicious by itself. It lived up to the hype for us and my husband (who is pretty picky) said "10/10 stars". Highly recommend.
Ordered 2 meat plate (brisket and ribs), corn bread, slab of cheddar cheese, banana pudding and Mexican bottled coca-cola. All the items are good. Took time to eat them all.
First time in this spot after being recommended to me. Didn’t disappoint. Went for a late lunch but the service was prompt and the meats and sides were fantastic. Got the TBH platter and will say can easily be split between two people. Brisket had good bark and was most. Don’t need a fork to cut it. Ribs were perfect but the Spicy Sausage was phenomenal. I got Cream Corn, Slaw and Mac and Cheese which were all good. And the piece of Cornbread that comes along with it was delicious. Will be back.
Excellent food. We recommend the baked potato with brisket. Prices are ok. Wonderful service, clean place.
Roast potato salad and brisket had very good flavour, the meat was soft and tender. Order meat by the half pound ad various sandwich / combo meals available.
Man am I glad we found this place. Let's get to the point, you want this brisket. Could cut it with a fork!! The ribs were fall-off-the-bone. The pulled pork was phenomenal. All the BBQ was moist, juicy, and had the smoke in the flavor. Everything was hot. The sides were huge and delicious. Real Texans in there making real damn good BBQ. Good pricing for the amounts too, which needs to be noted. Wear clothes you plan to change, cause the smoke is real. You will come out smelling like you smoked it out back yourself.
Nice little place for traditional Texas Q, a bit sanitized for the neighborhood but service is friendly and food is good. Nothing "wow," but good. The brisket was extra-lean. The pinto beans were extremely mild. The mac and cheese was nice. The turkey was good. Bread, pickles and onions were provided as you'd expect.
We enjoyed our food so much that we wanted more! The flavors were so wonderful that I can’t remember having something so good!! We had ribs, chicken, and brisket….so good! For sides we had baked beans, potato salad, Mac & cheese, and green beans! Soooo good!! Dessert we had banana pudding and pecan pie! Absolutely delicious!!
