Had a great time. The server was great, the patio was warm and the calamari was tasty. Some of the best chips in the GHA, and a Mexican restaurant rides on its chips, in my book. 😎
This was our first time eating here. They were very friendly and we loved the atmosphere here. Our server James was great. The food was amazing!! We will definitely eat here again. Can’t wait until we are back in the area.
This was a great place for Mexican eats. The food was fresh and tasteful. The drinks are pretty strong and the salsa with chips is a fresh starter to your taste buds. I really enjoyed the atmosphere we sat outside and enjoyed the weather(it was hot) but the fans were blowing.
The best TEX-MEX food I’ve had! So delicious!! A little pricey and keep in mind it is Tex-Mex but they have HOMEMADE flour tortillas!! Super delicious food. Had a wait time of about 30 minutes on a Tuesday evening but we were in no rush. Service was great and really great margaritas!
We had such an enjoyable experience with Latasha as our waitress. The red fish was very tasty. The chicken/steak fajitas were cooked to perfection. We'll be back soon, and we'll be sure Latasha will be our waitress. She's the best! 🤗🙌❤️🌻
The food is great and the place has a very lively atmosphere. I have been to Pappasito's twice now and each time the waiter has provided amazing service.
Well what can you say when everything is well done? Fabulous as usual. Sat at the bar service was spot on and the food all yummy and look at the cool presentation. I never miss the chance to eat at one of these when in Houston
Pappasito's Cantina never fails to deliver a fantastic meal. We started with shrimp and red snapper ceviche for an apperizer...it was DELICIOUS! For our main course, we had the beef fajitas, which were fantastic as usual. I can't say enough good things, even the chips and salsa are the best. Our only disappointment is there isn't a Pappasito's Cantina in Northwest Arkansas!
To start, this place is pricey, but worth it. I ended up getting the lunch special of chicken quesadilla and a taco. I couldn’t finish my meal. The drinks were delicious too. The tacos are huge! Would be a top spot I want to try if I’m in the area again
This is a great Pappasitos. I have eaten at the restaurant in Austin and San Antonio; this one in Houston near NRG Stadium may be the best. It was a Saturday night before a Houston Texans game on Sunday; it was packed, but service was still prompt and excellent. Our server often gave us more than we asked for, and with a smile...... very deserving of a generous gratuity.
I ordered a rack of smoked pork ribs, called Agujas. My wife had a chicken dish called Pappasito's Grill. Both dishes had an abundance of side dishes which could have been a good meal by themselves. My wife doesn't like red and green peppers, so I loved her grilled peppers. We both enjoyed the grilled, caramelized onions. Savory beans and rice came with my pork ribs. Both of took home a large doggie bag, including 1/2 rack of ribs.
Before we left, I introduced myself to a gentleman who wore a Vietnam Veteran, and thanked him for his service. We had rich conversation.
I went to this Papisitos Cantina for the first time and decided to purchase something different. I purchased the Tulum(pico de gallo, cheese enchilada & tamale with chilecarne and rice with refried beans, Taco Dinner, Shrimp Tacos and a glass of Sangeria Rose. All of which was absolutely delicious. If you like spice, you will love Tulum. Our waiter, Icario, was so nice, attentive, and helpful with suggestions. I will say 10/10 for the service and food, but the ambiance was good as well. I will definitely return to this one if I am ever in the area again.
The margaritas were great if you like sweet drinks, my favorite was the jalapeño. The hosts and wait staff were very friendly and courteous. This location is a favorite.
