Great place. Cozy cabin type feel. Friendly attentive staff. You may find yourself wishing they had food/snacks, but I think lacking those things help keep their drink prices reasonable. Their Belgian beer was excellent. We really enjoyed our first visit there. Would love to return in the summertime, sit outside and enjoy the lovely view.
The best best local brew, at the best best price ever. $3.50 for a pint!? $5.50 for a flight!? Really good beer, for all kinds of beer drinkers. Great atmosphere and fun spot to socialize with friends. They let you bring in food if you want, and play games at your table. I would be at this place weekly if I were local. If your passing through town, it’s a total must.
Great beer, friendly folks, outdoor patio and lots of seating! Oh and realistic pricing $3/pints!!!!! $10 growler fills!!!!
Good selection/variety of beer choices.
Don enjoyed the black IPA so much that he had to get a growler full (only $10) to bring back to camp! They don’t serve food but there are many options nearby. Some deliver and some are so close you can go grab something and bring it back to the patio.
We ordered from Joey’s seafood grill - super delicious and such friendly staff! They don’t deliver but they’re only a few business down the block and they called me when it was done. The sweet woman I ordered from even met me halfway!
A must visit place if you're in Houghton or Keweenaw Peninsula for Beers 🍺. They've got it all from Ale's to Seltzers to IPA's to Root beers. Great atmosphere and ambiance. Been in Houghton from past 6 years and would highly recommend this place. One of the few breweries across the US 🇺🇸 I'd say where 🍻 are still at reasonable price!

Best brewery in the UP, totally recommend
First visit! Split a sampler with my husband and then got a bag of nuts, and he tried a beer with blueberry in it. Not a fan, but he loved it! They were out. Red ridge is really good also, tried it for the first time in que masters the other day. Got some! So we get to hoard what we got when we get home. No telling when we can get up here again. We will be stopping in again when we do!!
This place is great! They have their core beers that are available all year round but they also have a long list of rotating seasonal beers too!!! Both are usually sold in cans to-go which is awesome to take home!
The brewery itself is fantastic from the big fireplace to the beautiful patio overlooking the bridge/river/Quincy mine.
There is another brewery in town but don't waste your time. KBC is always a stop when we are in town!
Can’t beat the price! We tried two flights which covered basically all the beers they offer. Cool building and decor. Very friendly service! Super fun place to enjoy a beer or two!
Stopped in to have a pint and was not disappointed. The seasonal Red Ridge was amazing. Clean, crisp, and super summery. If you're walking Shelden Ave in Houghton, definitely make it one of your stops. Wish I would have tried their Blueberry Cream Soda...next time.
