Full Moon Bar-b-que

I would leave negative stars if possible. Me and my daughter just left the Hoover location and it was awful. I ordered a chicken baker and she ordered a cheeseburger. The lady told us it would be about 15 min cook time on the burger which was fine with us. After going to find a table which took about 30 seconds she brings my daughter her burger. Apparently they had one in the back left over they served my daughter. 30 minutes later I still hadn’t received my food. Also, we were the only customers in the entire restaurant. I just asked for my money back and whoever the lady at the register was gave me an attitude and never once apologized for anything.

Their smoked wings are pretty great. Their brunswick stew is good too. I feel like their bbq sandwichs are about average - just because there are so many great BBQ places in Alabama. My only complaint is their stinginess with the white sauce that's supposed to come with the wings. It probably costs them less than a quarter and they only give one little dipping cup for 10 wings. At $13 for 10 wings, I'd expect to get at least one dunk in the sauce for each wing.

Great food. Ribs, BBQ sandwich and Mac n cheese was great. Large portions. My husband and I went inside to eat. The tables were spaced do you were spread out from others which we appreciated since COVID-19 hit. They had beer and wine too. We placed our order at the counter then it was delivered to our table. I've eaten take out here before and it's always been good.

The baked potatoes must come from an alien planet -- they're about the size of a football! But incredibly tasty. I had one of the loaded potatoes and took 2/3 of it home for later meals. Haven't tried the barbecue, but my companion had a giant salad topped with pulled pork that looked very delicious. Definitely worth checking out.
