Mikey's Grill

Oh my gosh, the best food ever!! We went for lunch but had found what we wanted online. We didn’t realize it was on the dinner menu. They were so wonderful and made us the food for our lunch!! That’s Macadamia Crusted Snapper😍😍😍 and the best crab cake we’ve ever had!!! Superb service and we will definitely be back!!

Being from the Midwest, we like seafood but this is completely different. Weren't sure about crawfish, so the chef gave us a sample. We added the alligator strips for the appetizer and counted them for sharing (not really but almost). Had the crawfish po-boy, since we liked the sample. Fantastic wait staff, love it when they ask but aren't intrusive. Huge servings. We aren't big eaters so the appetizer and the po-boy split between us made us quite comfortable for continuing our trip.

Excellent meal! We had the shrimp po' boy (10/10), the crab cake starter (singular -- only 1 crab cake for $11, 9/10 for taste, 5/10 for value), and the gumbo, 8/10 (all that okra made it a little slimey, but maybe that's personal preference). All in all, our grand total (including tip) was $52-ish dollars, for a great lunch. We'll be back, if not every week, at least every now & then for the incredible shrimp!

Never been so disappointed in my life as I was tonight. Our meals were all ice cold. When we finally received them, and my royal reds were bad so I couldn’t eat them. My friends steak was dry and over cooked literally the worst steak she’s ever had and that is all she eats so she knows a good steak. We will never return ever again to Mikey’s. Please save your time and money and do not eat here unless you expect subpar food.

I had the seafood pasta, noodles were under cooked and stuck together so I had to bring home & cook longer. The taste was kinda like he dropped too much seasonings in it so I added water while recooking to tone the taste down. Not very much shrimp and crawfish but it was a large serving. Overall I wouldn't pay $18 for that again, I had to do too much work to it, when I get take out, I just wanna go home and eat not recook. Update 7/16....Pasta was great!!

We had another great experience at Mikey’s. The crab cakes are simply the best money can buy. We had the fried green tomato, and it was unlike any I’ve ever had before. It’s was fantastic. My family and I moved here from Atlanta a couple years ago, and Mikey’s quickly became one of our favorites. I worked in the restaurant business for 20+ years before moving to Alabama, and let me tell you it’s rare to find fresh ingredients that Mikey uses. Inside tip….ask for Chris. He’s the best. He knew what both my wife and I drink after only having waited on us once. Now we don’t even have to order drinks he already has on the way. All the servers are great we love the entire staff, but Chris is the only one qualified to serve at this price point. We will be back soon.
