An enchanting experience for our family. We will be talking about the nuances and kindness of the Japanese tea culture for a long time. We felt wholly accepted and graciously welcomed.

Such a beautiful and enriching experience. Urasenke is Japan’s premiere tea school, and the ceremonies demonstrated here are a testament to the foundation’s dedication to the discipline. From the homemade sweets to the ceremony grade matcha, everything was expertly crafted. But the real highlight was watching and listening to our incredible host. If you love Japanese tea, or simply enjoy immersive cultural exchanges, I can’t recommend this enough. Just make sure you email them in advance to secure your reservation (they only do ceremonies one day a week).

Such a wonderful and relaxing activity! The tea ceremony host and narrator were so welcoming, kind, and informative. It was a beautiful cultural experience! It starts with a 15 min video on what a full length tea gathering is like and then you get to sit in an authentic tatami mat tea room and enjoy sweets and have tea made for you. I highly recommend this!
