Chronic Tacos

We got a fajita veggie bowl and a beyond beef tostada bowl, the location is VERY busy, with take out and delivery orders, and they seem a bit short staffed when we went in. All the ingredients looked fresh and prep surfaces were clean. The beyond beef (vegetarian) was cooked to order which takes a bit of time, I was expecting some kind of seasoning on it but it was just plain, cooked in oil, fine when mixed with everything but a bit boring on its own. The house red salsa is very smoky which I like, but not for everyone. The people running the place were very nice and accommodating especially given how busy they were and having to keep switching between food prep, orders and the register!

I stopped at Chronic Tacos in Honolulu for lunch. The best part of this review is to acknowledge the kindness and great attitudes of the two people working behind the counter. They made you feel appreciated and welcome. The food was just okay and with so many options I would likely choose another spot to grab some tacos. I had the pastor street tacos and chips and salsa. The chips were not very fresh. The tacos were good. The do have cold beer so that is plus.

These tacos were delishious! The meat was perfectly seasoned, and the topping selection was plentiful. On top of that - the young man and woman working on 1/27 were the most nicest people. The artwork in the restaurant was truly impressive. I'll definitely visit again on my next trip to Honolulu!!! Thank you for such great service:)

I got the vegetarian burrito with chips and a drink. Staff was utterly charming. Amazing burrito with ghost pepper sauce. Chips and salsa were fine. Filled me up. I'll definitely be back to try those potato tacos! Second time, I tried the Veggie tacos. This time, they had their sauces on the tables, and they're good. Every day, it seems they have some special, and Wednesday was free churros when I was there. Good place if you're in the mood and in the area.

An improved Chronic Tacos! Good Mexican food. Service is friendly and fast with the new management. I see a lot of significant changes. Highly recommend the Shrimp Taco (my favorite), Chicken Taco, and Chronic Fries, yummy!!! They are very delicious. It was my third time there, and I had to write a review. If you are a seafood lover, you definitely have to try the Shrimp Taco, it is made so fresh with the right amount of seasoning, and it all goes so well with a Flour Tortilla. It is the best I have ever had. The Chronic Fries is a must-try too. If you like your meals spicy hot, you must try their great hot sauce choices. Order your meal, sit back, relax and enjoy your lunch, dinner or break while admiring the beautiful Mexican mural on the wall. I am looking forward to eating there again.
