New Diner's Drive-in

Had their furikake salmon with asparagus plate - it was simply delicious and cooked perfectly! Their kalua pork plate is also great. It's definitely worth every penny. Their food is reasonably priced, too. The staff aren't very friendly but provide really good fast service otherwise, so can't complain. I agree with another review that there are a lot of sketchy characters around, especially with the bars close by, but it's not the fault of the restaurant. 4.5/5 stars - would eat here again.

I usually get one a few items, but have tried a lot. My go-to's for me are the locomoco and a breakfast type plate. The breakfast plate has pancakses, bacon and eggs. Also butter, which Btw: I can't tell if they use a specific brand, but it's so good lol it's really light and slightly sweet. Just makes the whole breakfast vibes really good imo. Especially if you're eating the food in a car outside the place. Tatse is personal preference, but im hoping people would like most of the items I liked. I think portion is good for price and quality. I always clean my plate. My family orders the same things too: steak and eggs, the skewers, or one of the fish dishes, which I also liked. I'd recommend trying them once if you're in the area. I can't recommend a time cause I've only gone at night at random times, which thankfully haven't had a huge wait or line at all. Hope this makes people want to try something out. Oh btw, I live in Hauula for reference. I don't drive there from, but if I'm in town or someone I live with is, out of all the places from kapahulu to Hauula, it's often here 😏 I think that says something 🫶

11/2023 We were looking for some late might grub and had a hard time because all former 24-hour eateries like Zippys and Liliha Bakery close early nowadays. Heard about this 24-hour gem from the bartender at The Row, which was a few minutes away. Nice choice and interestingly busy in the wee hours of the morning. When you graveyard shift contractors standing in line, you know it's gotta be good. Just take a look at the menu. Couldn't narrow it down and had to have aunty taking orders to decide for me. And ALL of it was onolicious! FYI, Fridays are Prime Rib day. I'm just saying you might want to do that and the small tail lobster one weekend. Everything we had was good and hearty. I'm glad this drive-in exists in this part of town for late night, breakfast, and all around the clock munchies! 😉🤙✌️

PROS: ALL kinds of food available 24 hours a day. They got something for everyone & anyone. Sometimes it can get crowded, so be prepared to wait (just in case), but normally their pretty quick & accurate with taking orders & getting them served to the customers. They're definitely worth checking out if your in Kalihi. CONS: It seems as though theres a dine-in area BUT its not being used right now !? Seating is very limited as well as its limited to outdoor sitting on the side of the building, like cars will be pulling up towards where ur sitting to park in stalls. A bit on the dirty side (to say the least). So im not a fan with the sitting arrangements they have available, especially if i got my grand-babies with me. I opt for a nearby park. Its more for labor/construction type workers where their in & out. OVERALL: Their prices are reasonable. Food selection is freakin' awesome! The employees & the service they provide is great. Prompt, & Accurate in their transactions. The presentation of the food they serve is down right ... Top Notch!! Would definetly give "hard rubs" to some higher end restraunts that i've been to! So check 'um out if you got the time to do so.

A great 24/7 spot with decently fast food and arguably great prices. They've got a pretty big menu from local style breakfast items under $10 to Hawaiian classic dishes to the upscale menu. The garlic 8oz steak and shrimp combo was super satisfying and filling with plenty of protein and flavor. The crusted ahi and ahi katsu roll were also super good!

Good simple food! I got the ahi belly plate. It was crispy and fried like a good fried chicken. It came with a small toss salad, lemon wedges, dipping sauce, and a TON of rice with furikake on top. Everything was delicious and the whole plate was just over $12. This was on their specials board, so it might not be there every day. They do have outdoor seating, but nothing fancy. My husband got the smoke meat with onions. We cleared our plates, no problem lol. We will be back again.
