All though it is hidden in an Industrial Park, you need to find It (On Paa Street). The staff is great, and extremely friendly. The service is fast. Entrée there before you even finish your salad. Still think this is the best prime rib on the island!!!
It is a nicely mellow place for us older folks to meet friends and family to eat, drink, sing and be merry.
Dark Place. Went to Henry Loui's with so friends who advised me that the place was a bit dark and more like a bar that a restaraunt. They were right on the money.
I tried the Hawaiian plate, and it was pretty good. It was also a very big serving as well. The kalua pork was moist and not dry and with just the right amout of salt. It was by far the best thing on the Hawaiian plate which even had a cube of haupia.
Decent after-work hangout with friends.... Located in the mixed-use industrial area of Mapunapuna, Henry Loui's is a good after work hangout to have drinks and have a pretty good meal.
The specialty here is its BBQ ribs. For me, I prefer Tony Roma's ribs but Henry Loui's holds it own. Other things done well here, is its Hawaiian Plate, Teri Short Ribs and Chicken.
The decor is dark and gloomy, like you would expect from a bar, so I wouldn't recommend this place for young children, families or taking out-of town guests. Service is OK, not to friendly, but they bring your food to you quick.
I would recommend this place for an after-work dinner or working lunch. I may not go out of the way, but nonetheless, if I were in the area I would return.
We met here for our Red Hat Society monthly dinner. The meals were huge and tasted very good and the prices were great too.
I would definitely go back for the taco salad and baby back ribs!
Ribs are good, fall off the bone tender needed a side of sauce for more flavor. The Happy Hour prices for the ribs were lower than the full meal and can be shared at the table. The salads are great here too.
It's a great place to eat if you like to eat ribs! But we had the platter!!! That was awesome!
They wait help needs to improve but don't let that stop you from trying this place out!
I found out about this place on Facebook and someone mentioned that it was going out of business at the end of the month, so I had to try it. It's an old school, dark, hole in the wall type restaurant. There are no windows in the place so it's pretty dark. Even the front door almost doesn't look like it's an open restaurant. We went for lunch and honestly weren't sure what to expect.
Seafood salad was great. Lots of shrimp and real crab, and not fishy at all. My husband got the prime rib and mahi mixed plate, and I got the half back rib plate. All the food was delicious and the serving size is generous. We ate until we were full and still took home half of each item. I want to go back before they close and maybe get a sandwich or burger.
I am pleasantly surprise! I enjoyed the food and our waiter was very attentive! We will definitely come back! Probably my favorite place to eat, here in HI, so far. :)
Omg!! Finally awesome food for a good price! I have been here a year and a half and have had the hardest time finding good food. This place is great! It is a hole in the wall and not too fancy but the food is a must try.

Cute little spot with amazing food. Hot prime rib sandwich was on point. Nice chill atmosphere with awesome staff and regulars.
This place is similar to a great "hole-in-the-wall", has really good BBQ... although the side option of pasta is not good at all (mash potatoes was good though). Decoration inside is great, cozy place. Would be 5-star for me if the entrance was different, if it had a few more beer and non-soda options, and if the menu included the options for drinks and included some pictures of the favorite dishes.
It was delicious! I got the broiled burger medium well, seasoned fries, and fried calamari. I was expecting super soggy fries and calamari, but it was so FRESH! Food tasted great, I provided instructions and they actually followed it! (I’ve experienced restaurants neglecting my requests when ordering from online) Will definitely order from here again. Thank you so much for your great service.
