When I tell you the pork belly breakfast burrito is life changing... It is life 👏 changing 👏. From a San Diegan, I put my stamp of approval, this place is legit! Amazing food for breakfast or lunch. Great and consistent quality food for anyone downtown and on the go. Burritos, salad bowls, tacos, and super nachos with plenty of protein and veggie options. The carne asada fries are a real treat and a whole meal. Eating here 5 days a week is not an uncommon occurrence for me, and I've had no issues when keeping a keto diet.

Went on 2 April because I was in the downtown area to meet with Fiance at her office. I asked if she wanted anything to eat on my way back and she said no. Went to the post office and on the way back I stopped by Big Tacos. I'm so glad I did. I ordered the 3 taco special that came with a free taco for their Free Taco Friday. I had the pork loin and chose the hot habanero sauce. Sat down outside at a nearby table and was impressed. Very flavorful and the hot habanero was hot enough to give me the tingles and hiccups, but not so hot to burn my mouth. Maybe next time I'll try the hotter hot sauce. Anyway, called the fiance and told her about how good they were and she agrees to try. Went back and ordered another 3 taco special with chicken and mild sauce. Fiance's response was "oh my, there is all kinds of loveliness in this". Please be sure to check them out.

Great place for lunch in downtown area and food is excellent. But be prepared to wait in line which is often out the door and onto the sidewalk by 12:30pm. Best to go at or before 12pm or wait until closer to 1pm when the line is not so long. When you get to the counter, food prep is quick once you place your order. Most people seem to get their food to go, but there's plenty of seating indoors and outdoors if you have time to stay and eat there.
