Great place for lunch after a visit to I'olani Palace. The garden courtyard was under repair when we recently visited, but we have seen it in its glory and it is a beautiful place right next to the cafe. We ordered food that was much too heavy (eggplant sandwich, pork bowl, and pumpkin cheesecake), but it was all tasty.
Had a really good experience here! A nice hidden little gem. (They did seem to be out of a significant amount of menu items: drink-wise, which was pretty weird…) It’s a nice place to just chill and work. Super comfy dining room area- probably because intended use seems to be people waiting for something related to the auto business connected to it. This also might be why the menu items are so expensive. The staff was so so friendly, sweet, and informative!
This is my personal #1 spot for lunch on the island. The quality is phenomenal, they keep the menu simple and fulfill each order with delicacy and amazing locally sourced food when available. I love the fries here, and the furikake fries are a little fusion bomb of Oishi goodness! The burger is one of the best I've had, and the opah is to die for! No matter what you get, it will be served with the upmost quality.
Food is great, small place to eat on first floor. Great if you like a car scenery since it's in the auto display area.
I love their food from MW restaurant. Very delicious and very details, but lil too small portion lunch box. After I eat their lunch box, I'm still hungry.
Delicious food. Ate the spicy fried chicken sandwich. The chicken was delicious with just the right amount of kick. I will definitely be back to try the other lunch items.
11/2/2022: Food was delicious. The two of us ordered the Cesar salad, tonkatsu, and Shepherd's Pie (daily special). The pipikaula poke was yummy! Tonkatsu beautifully fried. The Shepherd's pie was very filling, nice fluffy layer of potatoes.
Disappointment: Even though we dined in, our meal was delivered in plastic to go containers. When we were done there was no trash sorting receptacles so everything went into the trash...plastic, compostable cutlery, and glass. Very disappointed.
Solid lunch spot for good food and conscientious service. It's a casual stop for food and a glass or can of wine.
I wouldn't say the food is out of this world, but it is different from the food in town and tasty. 4/5 because the view is of traffic and the space is small.
Otherwise, the waitress brought out our can of rose (pretty tasty imo) with two glass champagne flutes, and our food was hot and delicious.
Fresh cream, an abundance of strawberries, and the tightly balanced, loamy-herbaceous notes of matcha spongecake are a few of the delicate flavors and sensations that rise in layers atop a crispy-sweet feuilletine crust. Strawberry matcha shortcake from Artizen by MW, which was created by Michelle Karr-Ueoka, a semi-finalist for the James Beard Award three times, has a flavor that is reminiscent of early summer in the clouds.
We were treated to some bentos at work and they were really delicious
