If you enjoy ube flavored desserts this is a place to try out. The ube mochi was tasty. Although if you do not care for coconut flavor, ask before you buy as they include it in some of the desserts. Also this is just a buy and go place, there are no tables to sit at.

Very polite and nice even when I have a bunch of questions. It’s a very small place, but pack a big punch. It’s our favorite place for anything ube.

I love this place! You absolutely have to have the Ubae 1/2 and 1/2 soft serve! And where ever you are keep your eyes peeled for Ubae Crumble cookies. This is a Honolulu must!

I saw some YouTube videos about this place and what caught my attention was the Pandan Ube soft serve swirl and the flan Ube cake and let me tell you those did not disappoint!! Although the Pandan is mostly for coloring, it’s more a coconut vanilla flavor but still was delicious. We also grabbed their famous cookies, which are really crumbly but still satisfying. Small grab and go shop, no seating.

One of my favorite desserts on the island. The cookies are soft and amazing. Every time we go to night markets, we are always on the lookout for the little purple truck to sell us desserts. Highly recommend!

Very delicious non-diary soft serve. I like that it is not too sweet. Very subtle flavor with a hint of coconut.

5/5, 10/10!! We bought the ube cheesecake bites and the mochi ube brownie. The ube cheesecake bites are out of this word. The ube flavor is so deep and rich. Much tastier than any other ube cheesecake bite I’ve ever had. They don’t miss out on the flavors
And the mochi ube brownie, I almost fainted every time I bit into it. It’s so chewy and moist and just as rich in flavor as the ube cheesecake bite. These are definitely high quality ube products. They have pandan and ube ice cream but I did not indulge because I was late catching a flight lol
My only regret is not getting multiple packs of the ube cheesecake bites. Will be back!

Around 15 minutes away from the main tourist area. One size only for ice cream. Friendly service. Everything is delicious. Small store inside, no seating or bathrooms. Hidden gem in a plaza with other small businesses and bakeries

This was my favorite stop on our honeymoon. My first search was for an Ube spot and this one was the best we found on the island. The only thing sweeter than their Ube items is their customer service. I was even tempted to fill an entire carry-on bag with cheesecake to take home. AMAZING. A must-go.

Ubae is a bakery that celebrates the beautiful filipino flavor that is ube. Everything they make here is worth every cent you spend. The ube flavor of each item is unbeatable, tastes all natural, and is never too sweet. The texture of the ube cheesecake and ube tarts are both smooth and silky. The cookies are soft and chewy. The ube coconut cake roll is moist and soft, with a crunchy contrast from the toasted coconut flakes. And lastly, the pineapple condensed milk drink is to die for!
Parking is easy enough, there is plenty in front of the store and across the road. The staff are also pleasant and very helpful.
I highly recommend trying everything- you won't be disappointed! If you're in Hawaii visiting, their crinkle cookies travel well and make excellent gifts for friends and family. I hope to return for future trips, and will continue to buy their cookies online once I run out
