Butterfly Ice Cream

No photos to share cause I ate it too fast...sorry not sorry lol. Anyway this is a nice little shop located at SALT. They were closed when I first got there but by the time we had eaten lunch they had opened. There are only a couple of flavors and they must rotate some out as I didn't see some that were featured in other reviews I've seen. For us we got a single scoop of ice cream in Kona Coffee. I fortunately they hadn't had time to prep any waffle come so it was just in a cup but it's all good. Anyway the ice cream was very flavorful! Some of the best kona coffee ice cream I've had. They also give a very generous scoop into that cup and it's nicely frozen which is something I like for ice cream vs the soft type. Make no mistake though the ice cream is creamy and so full of flavor. Can't wait to get back and try other flavors and that fresh made waffle cone!

This ice-cream is AMAZING!!! One of the best ice-creams I’ve ever eaten. We got the spéculos cookie which apparently is their best seller in a waffle cone and that Ice cream was so soft and just out of this world delicious. I don’t like cones in general and I normally don’t get one because they usually charge extra and they are not worth it, but BOY don’t make this mistake here, their waffle cones is just as good as their ice-cream and it just goes well with it! The only downside for me was that they don’t let you choose two flavors for a single scoop and a two scoops for me is just too much. Define going back here to try all their flavors.

Great little ice cream shop. While they do have your standard vanilla and chocolate, I love that they have really unique flavors as well. I tried the Hibiki whiskey. They nailed it. You taste all the same subtle notes you would when sipping the whiskey, which is probably very difficult to keep those subtle flavors after the cream is added. For sure I'll be going back to try another flavor.

The waffles were to die for. Light and fluffy with the right amount of crispy crust. Goes so well with the richly flavoured ice creams. So creamy, not overly sweet and really packed a punch with the flavours. The whiskey and speculoos flavours were just delightful. I was so pleasantly surprised by the laidback little store. Some of the best ice cream I’ve ever tasted in my life!! Don’t miss it!
