Liko's Tap & Table

I remember this place previously as The Shack and assumed it was still just an intimidating, rundown biker bar under new ownership. Wow, was I wrong! It’s clean, spacious, family friendly and the food is fantastic. One of those places that once you eat there you’re craving the food and have to go back ASAP. The beautiful lagoon view is wonderful for visitors. My Japanese wife recently spent two months in Japan and the first thing she wanted was a cheeseburger and fries at Liko’s. That’s saying a lot for this place! The thick-sliced bacon sandwich is also out of sight. Bring cash though if you want to avoid the 3% credit card fee 😞.

My cousin really liked the bacon, mac and cheese. I was happy because they were willing to accommodate my sports television request and put the Arizona Diamondbacks game on as they were in the middle of defeating the LA Dodgers and the playoffs that year. The beer is cold and delicious. If you can get a view of the lake then request that table. It's definitely worth waiting for. Otherwise, this is a fantastic place to watch sports if you need a spot to drink beer at 7:00 or 8:00 a.m. to watch the early games on the east coast.

This location used to be the Shack Hawaii Kai. They did a great job at remodeling. The parking is a bit tricky to find a spot quickly as so many other stores share the same lot. The ambience of over the water is great. The service was a bit slow but he was very friendly. My nicoise salad was good and the shishito pepper were ok. The Bloody marys were not consistent, as I had 2, but overall good. I will be back to try other things.

Being the "nosy neighbor" that I was, I walked into Liko's Tap & Table before they even finished construction and opened the doors of the restaurant. Even then from that first moment I walked in, I felt like I was a welcomed guest and that they were happy to have me there. Nothing has changed since that first experience. Everyone at Liko's does what they can to make the dining experience the absolute best! Every single one of the staff members are so friendly and professional. If you frequent the restaurant often, you will quickly learn that the owners, Nick, Mike, & Ty are almost always there making sure everyone is taken care of. They treat their guests like family. They don't just own the place; they make you feel like an honored guest in their home. They came over to our table, had a genuine chat with us, and made us feel like we were old friends. It's not something you see every day. In a world with plenty of great restaurants, this one stands out for its exceptional atmosphere, amazing service, and genuine hospitality. I always leave feeling like a queen! Definitely give them a try!

Best last-minute dining decision! Had plans for another restaurant, but it was too far, so we stopped at Liko's. The restaurant is located with water views, open airy indoors, and outdoor seating. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. We had the hummus plater for apps, and it was great. If you order the prime rib, beware it huge (can feed 2).
