I live nearby, so I drop in at least once or twice a month - I've never been disappointed by anything I order, even at these gourmet prices. I always save room for dessert, because baked sweets is where Cafe Laufer really shines - I particularly recommend their sticky buns with a glass of milk!

Best food I've had in Hawaii so far! Had the pork shank. It was very tender and the meat just fell off the bone. The vegetables and potatoes were delicious as they were sitting in the natural juice of the shank. My wife had the duck confit, and it was equally as delicious. There was nothing left on our plates because it was too good not to finish! The coffee was very good, rich and flavorful. The wait staff was decently attentive. The service suffered a bit the busier it became, but they were very pleasant and helpful. We will definitely be coming back here again!
