Solid choice and a nice touch that the children were free. Worth it if you're hungry for a big breakfast spread. Huge assortment.
A ton of food. Granted - I did not go for their staple buffet, the breakfast here is good. I had a Veggia Fritatta - and my lord - what a giant amount of food.
Definitely a tourist place, it's in a hotel so what would you expect.
If you're stuck for a place to grab breakfast though (being from the US East Coast, and being wide awake at 6:30am, there are few places open here), it's good.
The breakfast buffet is extensive, expensive, and borderline an embarrassment of riches, despite missing smoked salmon, a staple and a popular option at all fancy breakfast buffets. They open at 5 am, which is unusual for an establishment on Waikiki Beach. Sit by the window and you'll get an amazing view of the Pacific.
Good food and super friendly staff in a typical hotel restaurant atmosphere. Loss of options with made-to-order omelets.
Great window view of the beach across the street...no wait as I arrived just before closing @11am... Huge buffett assortment. I have forgotten the official name of this dish but it was delicious...eggs, short ribs, mushrooms, onions...hearty portion. The server was very attentive and friendly. Would recommend!
Saturday Seafood buffet.
Not very wide variety of choices but it is great place if you want to eat snow crabs and prime ribs.
I really enjoyed crabs. It would be even better if they could come up with different dipping sauce.
You can see the sunset from the restaurant.
This was a great breakfast experience. The service was top-notch, and the servers were very pleasant and attentive throughout our dining experience. The food, now that was shall I say quite the flavorful mouth explosion. The buffet was as good as if it was made to order. This was my first time to try a coconut syrup, and it was to die for. If I had the choice, I would never use regular maple syrup again. The omlette chef was very knowledgeable and made omlettes on the spot for you. He was quite the character, too. My wife, on the other hand, ordered a life changing mochi waffle. After tasting this waffle, I will never be able to eat a normal waffle again, I am waffled spoiled and waffle ruined. Excellent experience. It is a definite must.
Great service, good food. We had free continental breakfasts for two due to Marriott Bonvoy Titanium status. The kind server explained that the continental breakfast (see menu) is valued at $14. We may order that, or apply the value to any other items we may wish to order. We stuck to the continental breakfasts, but ordered a hot chocolate $5 for our daughter. We had enough foresight to have our second continental breakfast boxed up (we are not big breakfast eaters, usually just coffee), and split the one meal, which was plenty as I was going on a Koko hike later. The banana bread (they were out of Taro rolls) was delicious, the papaya was fresh, sweet and fragrant with the squeeze of lime, and the granola yogurt was perfect and not overly sweet. Overall a very good experience, and we’ll be back again for our complimentary breakfast.
My first vacation in Oahu, Hawaii was a bit disappointing but Kuhlo Beach Grill at the Waikiki Marriott Beach Resort was the best part of the day. They only do breakfast but they do it very very well. We had the complimentary buffet breakfast which offered great food, fruit, breads, and great service. Great way to start your day!!
The restaurant has a great selection of food such as the prime rib, crab, potatoes, ham, brocolli, lettuce in a buffet format. It was a little expensive, but offered great customer service.

As an elite member for Marriott they offered me a 25% discount to try one of the restaurants in the hotel. Usually this is because the food costs much more simply because of convenience. So I decided to walk downstairs to the Kuhio Beach Grill. When I entered I was seated towards the back of the room. Was there something wrong with flip flops, shorts and a t-shirt? This is Waikiki Beach after all... So after some consideration and seeing the full menu I opted for the Wednesday Asian Buffet. I would guess there were over 30 quality items, excluding desserts. I did my best to sample much. I had a salad, a slice of prime rib (very good), Lemon chicken, teriyaki tidbits, steamed rice, fish & a shrimp. then I ordered and drank my first mai tai and had desserts. The regular buffet price is $24.95 monday thru friday. Considering this is an "All you can eat" it is very valued. The food is very well prepared, heated and the staff are the friendliest I have met during my week stay. Give it a try, you won't regret it.
Wasnt a lot of options for the dinner buffet, food was good though. What made it worth was the prime rib that was included. Want to go back soon. Waitress was really nice
