YUM YUM YUMMMM. Incredibly fresh fish, warm sushi rice, gracious staff and owners. Be sure you get there before 1pm - closing time. try the pokey with crab sauce award winner in 2021! Amazing.

visited this place based on a local's recommendation for their poke, and it was undeniably fresh. I highly recommend it.

The Poke here was absolutely delicious! The best we had on our entire trip! Found this spot through Mike Wiens on YouTube. Only downside was we had a bit of an encounter with a local. . So felt a bit uncomfortable going back for more. Employees where extremely kind and food incredible!

Poke sauce doesn’t take away from the flavor and texture of the fish. Freshest ahi I’ve ever had in Hawaii and rivals the ahi you get in Japan.

Can I call this place a hidden gem or everyone knows about it already?
I followed the famous Food Youtuber, Mark Wiens, here and was very satisfied.
It is a local market that serves fresh poke and other pre-made dishes. Hot lunches served between 11.00-13.30 Mon to Fri. Since we were there early morning, we got to try their poke bowl of Amichili ($12.95) and a side of half a pound Spicy tuna ($10.27). Both were super delicious! The fish were smooth and buttery. I guess it is because they’ve never been frozen.
The staff are nice and friendly.
Limited parking available in front of the shop. No eat-in corner.
Highly recommend!!

This review is just for the poke. The line is long and you have to get there earlier than everyone else so they don’t run out of everything, but this poke blows all other poke everywhere in the entire world out of the water. So worth the wait! The fish is so fresh and flavorful and you get a perfectly sized portion. The taegu is also amazing! If you’ve never been, do yourself a huge favor and go!

Out of the 5 or so places we went to for Poke in our 4 days in Honolulu, these Poke bowls were our favorite. They were fresh, delicious, and had our favorite toppings/add-ins. The spicy ahi was the perfect Poke bowl. They add taegu in there and it makes all the difference from the other bowls we had.
Highly recommend getting a poke bowls from here. Come earlier because once they run out, they’re out.

This was my last stop in Hawaii on the way to the airport (super close), and I’m so glad I made a point to come here. The poke bowl here is almost too good to be true. You can only get one type of poke with each bowl, but you can choose any type you want with no additional costs. Honestly the fact that the poke bowl here costs only $12 is simply mind blowing!
On top of that, the staff serves everything with care and the aloha spirit. He let me try a piece of each of the ahi tunas so I could decide which one to get. I swear, every single one I tried was amazing, but I chose the spicy ahi tuna which was world class. The massive chunks of fresh ahi; in an amazing spicy sauce, with the sides that it comes with it is literally perfection. This was probably be one of the best bowls of poke that I’ll ever have. Sometimes poke is too salty for me, but this place actually was the perfect amount of seasoning. I saw it on a Mark Wiens video and I’m so glad I did, truly a local gem!

If you need a fresh fish, take a number, they will help you select and clean and cut for you if you wish, and wrap in pink paper and you can put in provided plastic bags.

Great selection of fish ranging from sashimi grade toro to whole local caught parrot fish and everything in between. I was not a fan of the poke here. The fish was fresh but the oil they used made the large strips a little slimy. The furikake is a little different from the poke I'm used to. No sesame seeds, sugar or salt. Just small strips of nori. I also tried the sailfish ginger poke which had a crunchy texture. The ginger masked any taste of the fish. Marlon poke is also available. Ask for a sample to determine which you may like.
For a small market it has an impressive selection of Asian vegetables to make most Japanese, Thai and Chinese dishes.
Prices are moderate and parking is available in front for free.
