Maui Brewing Company

Quick service, great waiter, great atmosphere. Kids welcomed. Beer was great and appetizers were ok. Calamari was a bit lacking in flavor, too soft. The fries did have potential to be great but they were loaded with salt. Maybe I’ll come back to try something different. It was my first night on the island.

On the pricey side, but that’s what you expect down in Waikiki. Food was average (not pictured was Chicken and fries, Baja tacos, hummus platter, chicken salad) but drinks were on point. Service was good, they accommodated our big party and were willing to take us in on a busy night, our server was friendly and checked in frequently. Atmosphere is always great, if you have a chance to check out the actual maui brewery in maui I would highly recommend! But this one in Waikiki is good as well 🤙🏼

This was our first time going to Maui Brewing and we walked there. It is located in a very pedestrian friendly area that is bustling with activity. Don't forget to take the elevator up, the stairs are two or three flights. Once you get up top, you'll find the space very expansive. The beer selection was very, very good and they also had food although we did not get any this trip. The bartenders were friendly and had great personalities, and we would definitely recommend this brewery to our fellow beer drinkers.

Fantastic selection of local craft beers, fun ambiance, friendly service and delicious food. Lots of brews on tap. Start with a flight of 4 for around $10. I was really impressed with the garlic padana fries as they had a generous helping of shaved imported grana padana Italian cheese. The garden salad has a tasty and tangy citrus house dressing that’s refreshing on a typical Hawaiian day. The kalua pork sandwich had a generous portion of slow cooked pork. Hawaiian style pork blends hints of sweet, spicy and smoky bbq flavors. It’s very good so don’t leave Hawaii without trying it!

Staff were great! The burger was great! Why the 4 stars? 20 bucks for just a burger...with bacon added. No fries. We were staying at the Outrigger and were told a 15% discount for food from Maui Brewing Company. The lady up front told me they don't offer that anymore. Maybe it's a fault in the card sleeve from Outrigger. Further looking into...it was for dining in and not applied to carry out. So 20 bucks for a cheeseburger with bacon added and no fries. Disappointing...but I do have to admit...that burger was pretty good. If only the patty matched the size of the bun.
