Celebrated my 40th birthday here. The food was great, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. They even gave me a dairy-free dessert at the end. With all the beautiful views and atmosphere, I'd definitely recommend.

I will definitely eat at Hula Grill again and do recommend it to friends and family. I cannot say enough positives: it is a definite "Must Go" restaurant. We had a light lunch at Hula Grill and the food was delicious. Staring out at the ocean - just beautiful. Recommend highly! Great waitress.

Overall a great experience. We sat at the bar and even though they were very busy we received good service. The wine selection was good and the food was delicious too. We had the striped Marlin tacos and the chicken tacos and each shared one. The views are great and it was a vibrant atmosphere. 👍👍

Hula Grill sits right above Duke's Waikiki. The atmosphere is great. We sat in the bar area for happy hour. The pork ribs, fish and chips, and burger were great! The Lemonade Slush drink was well balanced with a good pour. We finished off with some hula pie, which was phenomenal. A great start to our trip and stay in Waikiki. Five stars!

Food here was awesome. Fresh, full of flavor and the view of the beach and ocean just seemed to make it better! Highly recommend the wings as well, some of the best I've had! Bloody Mary was also a home run.

Service was super friendly and attentive! Was able to grab a quick dinner without waiting since we sat in the bar area. They had mushroom fries, which is something I’ve never seen before. They were pretty good. I got the fish tacos—one grilled and one fried. They were not bad, the corn was a nice added touch but wish it came with more sauce. They did a good Mai Tai. 🍹💕

We have eaten at the sister restaurant Duke’s before, which is downstairs, so we decided to try the restaurant that shares a kitchen with them upstairs since we enjoyed Duke’s before. We ordered beers, and we got the wontons as an appetizer. They were pretty good, but probably wont get again. The server (Rose) was busy but she did a good job of keeping up with her tables and making sure they had everything they needed. She informed us about the fresh catches of the day as well as the specials of the day that are not on the menu (be sure to ask about this). We ordered one of the specials which included mahi mahi and swordfish and it was artistically plated. The mahi was tender and flavorful. The swordfish was a tad overcooked so it was only okay. We also ordered the Opah fresh catch which I have never had before. It is a white flaky fish and it was so good. It was cooked perfectly and melted in your mouth. I ate everything on the plate. We had a great view of the sunset from our table. We did make a reservation online. Overall some of the prices were similar to Duke’s and some were cheaper. Some of the menu items were the same as Duke’s and some were different, which we also appreciated. Overall we enjoyed our meal here and will probably be back the next time we are visiting.

Came down here with a friend and was actually very good. If you dont do reservations ahead of time, be prepared to wait, especially around dinner(sunset). I had the Guava BBQ Chicken, and it was cooked to perfection. The meat was juicy and the flavours were just a great mix. The rice was ok, nothing too special. I also had the Mai Tai and it brought the Hawaiian flare. It was really good and well mix. Plus it was fun to drink from the tiki mug. I would highly recommend this place to any travelers to experience the great tastes while enjoying the beautiful view. My only negative was the server seemed a little rushed and kept checking on us every 5 min.

It is located at Beachside with some amazing waikiki beach views . It's hard to find parking , and I recommend using public transit or walking if you are staying at waikiki Beach . They have amazing cocktails. I tried out mushroom fried, which were delicious 5/5 , macademia nut mahi mahi 5/5 ( a must try dish ), and baja fish tacos 4/5.

Decided to eat here instead of Duke’s. Walked right up to the bar with no wait while Duke’s was already at an hour. Bartender’s were nice, funny and enjoyable to be around. You get the live music from below since it’s open to the ocean side. Can get tables setting there as well. Food was good and didn’t take long to get. Definitely worth going back to.

BBQ Chicken was simply AWESOME!!!!!! Moist and very yummy. Probably the best bird, I've ever had. My sister in law loved the steak.
