Tommy Bahama Restaurant & Bar

This place had quality food, courteous staff, great roof top vibes and live music (when I went on friday evening). The price is fair and the dishes have unique flavors that I haven’t experienced in typical restaurants. The coconut shrimp are giant & has big panko flakes looking crunchy crust and has a fruity sauce that pairs perfectly with it + served with the freshest tasting cole slaw with red onions and herbs etc. to add that fresh kick. The guava ribs are awesome. It is worthy of its name - You really get that punch of fruity guava flavor which goes amazing with the ribs. I also had the blackened ahiahi fish taco, which was my least favorite (esp for the price) but still delicious, decent fish tacos. I went during sunset hours and enjoyed the change in scenary as time went by. Oh and their bread was delish with cinnamon butter that tasted very unique unlike any other cinnamon butter I’ve tried before.

Delightful dinner at Tommy Bahamas. We have tried other locations and enjoy the food choices. We thought we would try it in Waikiki. Ambiance is nice with a lovely view at the top level. Server was friendly and very knowledgeable. My husband, 11 year old son & I enjoyed our dishes that were very flavorful with fresh ingredients. We ordered the coconut-crusted crab cakes, mac n cheese, herb crusted Mahi Mahi, togarashi crusted seared ahi taco. The presentation of each dish was nice and all the dishes were delicious. You can't go wrong at any Tommy Bahamas, quality food.

Nice rooftop restaurant downtown. Made reservations for 5 on a Friday night. The two small groups without reservations ahead of us were seated quickly downstairs in the main restaurant. We were seated in less than a minute in the rooftop bar area. There was live music. The kind that is perfectly unnoticeable. The Hard Rock next door is so loud you can't talk when you're eating there. This place was sharp, elegant, and refined. Tommy Bahamas perfectly balances upscale dining with a relaxed atmosphere. The food was excellent! The staff were very pleasant, from the ladies that greeted us at the door to our server Valentine. She made us feel like she was genuinely happy to be there. Her service was among some of the best I have revived on Island. She changed our silverware and cleaned the table between our starters. It was an excellent and subtle touch. This is more common in fine dining establishments so it was a surprise to me and I felt like it was a nice touch. There wasn't anything served that didn't taste fresh and delicious. Highly Recommended for adult dinning. The only reason that this is a 4 star review is because their beer selection is lacking. I was let down when I found out there are no stouts,or porters, or browns at all. That's still not enough to keep me from coming back. Especially when the Tom Colin's was great! The crab cakes were so good looking they got attacked before I got a good photo! 3 people (1 ordered expensive steak) 2 appetizers 2 drinks each $217 + $54 tip that I don't feel bad about giving. Valentine is a 25% server all day.

We were a group of 11 for lunch at roof top restaurant. The staff at Tommy Bahamas were so friendly and attentive treating us like royalty making us feel very special. We could not fault anything as the service was extraordinary and the food was exceptional. The duo of Dips and Scallop Sliders were absolutely delicious, and the steak was cooked to perfection and just melted in your mouth. We would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting an enjoyable dining experience.

Such a wonderful experience. Great service, a beautiful open-air dining area, and a killer menu. Had a hard time deciding what to get because it all sounded so good. Opted for the warmed goat cheese dip to start, then I chose the creole shrimp and crab pasta. Both dishes were incredible! And my husband enjoyed his crab encrusted blue marlin, a seasonal special. We’ll be going back here!

We went there upon first day of arrival. For apps we had the Buffalo wings which tasted good to me but it was too spicy for my best friend. I ordered some fish tacos which were delicious. And my bestie had ordered some Creole Shrimp and Crab Pasta. Overall the food, drinks, customer service and the atmosphere were awesome!

I love how depending on the location, there is a different menu. We ordered the wagyu burger, sea scallop sliders, and mahi tacos with an appetizer of goat cheese dip. Everything was flavorful in nice proportions. Our waiter was very nice and polite. I felt they were a bit short staffed, but still efficient. Our order was quickly taken and shortly afterwards we received our food. There are 2 floors above the Tommy Bahama store. The rooftop was spacious and they had a bar on each floor as well. The bartender made a perfect drink for me that was super tasty. Park at the bank across the street to get validated parking. There is no parking at the restaurant.
