One of the best poke places on the island! They let us sample the flavors and the service was quick. Super flavorful and would definitely recommend salmon poke and garlic ahi. Hawaiian and spicy flavors are also decent
Food is incredible. Poke was amazing, and the coconut shrimp was likewise dynamite. Of the two employees I interacted with, one was friendly and the other was somewhat difficult. There were also no trash cans to throw out empty containers. Parking is also super tight, and they close early (5:45 for the kitchen!).
Seared ahi and hawiian style poke were amazing! Atmosphere was lacking and the employee behind the counter was not very helpful but all was forgiven when I ate the food!
Love the fresh seafood and the reasonable prices. No tables to eat there and a little bit hard to get to. They do have a small parking lot.
Some of the best poke I've eaten! The name of the restaurant stands true because the poke we ordered all tasted very fresh: not fishy at all. The pastele fries were delicious, and the garlic chicken, I believe, to be the best garlic chicken I've ever had. I'm sensitive to garlic and it wasn't too garlicky for me. Service was friendly, and there was plenty of parking when we got there about half hour after opening on a Saturday.
Best poke Oahu has to offer!! The people working there are awesome!! The place is as clean as a fishy place can be. Room to eat inside and limited parking so and always packed. Should tell you something about the place already
There was a line when we went but the line moved pretty fast. You can order what you want on the menu or you can make your own poke bowl. The poke bowl is charged by the weight. It was a bit pricey for some reason(maybe they weighed the bowl with the white rice in the box...). I love the variety of poke that they have. My dad ordered garlic chicken. It was ready in 10 minutes. Garlic sauce was very good. My brother had poke bowl with hawaiian flavor and shoyu flavor. I dare you try the firecracker poke. It was spicy(I can eat very spicy) and so good!
The salmon poke was too sweet and it covered the taste of the fresh fish. I tried some other flavors and they were all pretty good in general though. If you just want some poke you can ask for a bed of leaves or something in addition to just rice and your poke.
The parking lot here is pretty small but should have a good in/out flow because this place is takeout only.
I wish I could've spent more time with the other items here. Lots to choose from but one can only eat so much. I had settled on the seared furikake which is a take on fresh ahi, seared perfectly on the edges and sprinkles with furikake. It comes with Japanese mayo and rice. The food was soo good I couldn't enjoy the taste bc I ate like there was no tomorrow. Don't do what I did and respect the fish. Savor it and definitely stop in for some fresh fish.
Delicious fresh poke. We’re definitely coming back before we leave Oahu. Staff was very friendly and helped us select the perfect fit for what we were in the mood for. Got the poke bowl with a little bit of rice, mixed greens, salmon poke, and spicy aku - that combo was the perfect amount of sweet & spicy. They weigh it deli style so I’d recommend lightening up on the rice to enjoy more fish (more bang for your buck)! They don’t have dine in but we sat and ate in our cars! Highly recommend!!
