Ate here today--halibut was perfection: fresh & delicious. fries were below average, could have done without them. should have chosen diff side dish. will definitely be going back for more halibut! gorgeous view as well
A great fish and chips. Had the rockfish and chips. Tasty fresh fish and good fries, nice golden batter perfectly cooked and just enough seasoning, and absolutly great tattar sauce! The mikshakes are super tasty. If you like peanut butter, get a peanut butter shake. Real chunks of peanut butter make it a unique experience. Yum. Decent prices, a plethera of beers to choose from and a nice view , make boardwalk a must- go-to in Homer.
Consistent. We go to Homer at least once every year for a little vacation - The Fish and Chips are always on the list of stops. The food is always good, hot and fresh.

Basically the best halibut fish and chips in its price range unless you go to a restaurant, lack of cleanliness, serve yourself and it’s sort of fast-food atmosphere but the taste and chunks of fish reached the top. Slightly more oily but tasty. There is also a beautiful view of the mountains and a bay so your eyes get to eat too. Living in Dubai where fish is served upon pointing out your favourite piece and then as a whole prepared to your like for a quarter of the alaskan price or even less and that all is done in fish market and not fancy restaurant then without hesitation my whole alaskan experience was a big downturn but at least this place made me to taste halibut real fresh and tasty
This restaurant has the best fish and chips! Fresh caught halibut in the halibut fishing capital of the world! Boardwalk is much friendlier and better priced than other nearby restaurants and the owner greeting us personally really made us feel welcome. Be warned, this place closes at 5 (Maybe temporarily due to covid), so plan accordingly.
Just reviewing the espresso partnership with Ano Kissaten Coffee. Loved the cappuccino and flat white, the barista was great at such an early hour. They were open by 630am, plenty of time before our charter!
Yay! Halibut and chips, reasonably priced, and amazing bread pudding as well!
It can be crowded, long wait, but pack your patience, it's worth the wait. The halibut is lightly breaded, so you really get more of the fish. Done perfectly, and lots of chunks on a skewer. Tartar sauce is dill sauce, much better. Huge waffle fries, tasty, no need to season.
The pecan bread pudding with rum sauce is worth it. Looks like they baked it in a tall sided lasagne pan. It's huge.

This was my 2nd favorite fish and chips. Never frozen fish straight from the ocean. They literally walk the fish from the boat to the restaurant across the road. I liked the the fish in a stick, more fish less breading so I liked that. My favorite fish and chips was the Lighthouse Seafood Drive-Thru Grill on the way into Homer.

Somt of the best fish and chips I’ve ever had (and I’ve tried a lot of places from all over the world) Great fries and slaw too. Good sized portions too, definitely enough for a hungry guy.
