Although I'm not entirely into spicy food, the dish I got was rather delectable. The price for the dish was little higher than expected but still doable. Initial appeal to me from my dish wasn't exactly what I had expected (I'm still learning Indian cuisine). Taste was delicious until the spice took affect. I ordered a medium when I probably should have ordered a mild.
Lovely service. Had chicken tika masala and curry chicken, all delicious! We also had garlic naan and samosas, yummy. Would definitely recommend!
Loved eating at The Island Spice tonight. The coconut curry was absolutely wonderful. Much thanks to the great hospitality from the owner, Ram who was also my server tonight. I will be back soon!
Dosa's looked impressive, average Indian food. Clean inside. Nice variety of Indian specialties, drinks included. Indian is my favorite type of food and I enjoyed it here. But it's not a place I would hit repeatedly if I lived near by..
Fantastic Indian cuisine. Rahm is very welcoming. I return to this place over and over. Definitely worth the visit.

The Island Spice Authentic Indian Cuisine 3608 E Bay Dr. Holmes Beach, Florida., in the small strip mall just South of Publix Grocery. My family has had several dinners at The Island Spice,. The staff are friendly and welcoming,, plus it has been a trusted Take- Out during Covid-19 ... the restaurant is clean /sanitized. The Indian cuisine has been excellent each visit making this restaurant one of our favorites on Anna Maria Island. We have especially enjoyed the Samosa as an appetizer which is served with tasty sauces and the Garlic Naan bread is delightful. The Lamb Entrees are my favorite which are served Basmati rice and the chicken entrees are terrific, Tikka Masala, Curry, Vindaloo, Tandoori, Saag, Mango Ginger : ) The service has been fast and attentive. The food is made with fresh ingredients and include Vegan and Gluten free options along with a variety of imported Beer. You can also choose between mild, medium or hot spice. The sweet and sour spicy Indo-Chinese Appetizers are a treat. They do have American kids meals available if needed, grill cheese, hot dog, nuggets, but I can't imagine the kids wouldn't like the Butter Chicken which comes in a creamy sauce if you want to have them try out Indian food along with the plain Naan bread. Open for Lunch Tues-Sat 11:30am to 2:30pm and 12:00 noon to 3:00pm Sunday, and opens again for Dinner Tues.- Sunday 4:30pm to 9:00pm. Currently closed on Monday. I recommend this clean, friendly, tasty restaurant.
Great place to get take out especially if you live on the island. Tika Masala was my favorite!
One of the most different flavor profiles of India I've had and I've had a LOT of Indian food. If you've had certain dishes you're used to, get them qehre and none of it will be what you expected, which isn't a bad thing. Very delicious and great portion sizes. The guy is lovely, very friendly and I'll miss this place!
Stopped by while on a day trip. This was FANTASTIC. The staff was knowledgeable about gluten free food and the meals were delicious. It was SO good that I requested a special dish I order at home - they made it and it was scrumptious. Our kids (6 and 4) also enjoyed it. Service was prompt, courteous, accommodating. Loved it.
The only reason why they aren't getting five stars is because the restaurant is not completely vegan. They have a lot of vegan and vegetarian dishes on their menu. The food is delicious!! We had fast and quick service in a nice, quiet setting. The prices are very reasonable too. I will definitely go back and highly recommend it.
