We have dined here before and must return whenever in AnnaMaria Island. We dined Tuesday and returned on thanksgiving for another fabulous meal. We had the Jager Schnitzel on Tuesday and tried the Capern Schnitzel with white wine & capers with a Hollandaise sauce! It was outrageously good! Both times we were served a steaming hot dish which included red cabbage and freshly made spaezl! It was all delicious! Don’t miss this German Gem in Anna Maria Island, Florida!

Pretzel appetizer was hot and salty and wonderful! I'm not a mustard person but their German brown mustard I could have just consumed right out of the bottle. Got the pork schnitzel with cream sauce and mushrooms. Perfectly cooked, crisp and tender. The sauce was smooth, rich and completely delectable. A definite do-again.

As a local real estate broker I often get asked where to go eat on Anna Maria 🏝️ island. I had no experience with German food and I had to ask a lot of questions which seemed to annoy the woman behind the bar. If you like German food this family seems be be authentic and passionate about what they do. Seems to also be a hangout for a very large mug beer 🍺. Cheers and I hope you enjoy your stay on AMI. Real German food. Excellent attention to the experience and the food. It’s the best German I’ve had outside of Germany. The Rinderroulade was on point. Highly suggested if you like German food.

What shall I say? I’m stunned. This was by far the BEST German food ever we had here in the US !!!! Usually we go to the Hofbräuhaus to get some authentic German food when we are homesick but this is really not comparable. We had the Jägerschnitzel and the Rouladen, it was so good I almost cried…..

We stopped in the restaurant for dinner on 4/11/23. For drinks, we throughly enjoyed two mugs of Warsteiner. For dinner, we had the Liverwurst Sausage Platter and the fabulous Pork Schnitzel. Thank you for a wonderful meal.

Saw a review for this restaurant and decided to try. So glad we did!! Abby, our hostess, was great! Portion sizes were generous, the food tender and flavorful, and the prices more than reasonable. We will certainly return the next time we visit the island!

Incredible food and fantastic service. Some of the best German food I've had in my life. The potato salad reminded my wife of her German grandmother's potato salad. Highly recommended.

My tastebuds lit up! Wow. Went there first time with some German friends, met the fantastically friendly owners and had an authentic German meal. The food was out of this world with flavors. From the meats, to the sauces, and the red cabbage with clove and cinnamon. Top it off with a great German wine and life is good...
