The homemade Honey Ginger ice cream was very rich and creamy. I think it really is homemade and was not using the standard Hood ice cream base that most places use.
For some reason google maps cannot find the actual location of "Ice House Creamery, Holderness, NH" and entering the address (1006 US Rt 3, Holderness NH) doesn't work either. Anyway, it is well worth a visit on a summer day.

This is a really great addition to an awesome town. The prior place was good and I think maybe last year it was closed or I'm not sure. However this place is excellent and really beautifully styled and very very tastefully done. Like the person who helped us with the ice cream said, they did a really good job with this place. I personally was very impressed. I definitely recommend this place it's beautiful and the ice cream was excellent particularly the honey lavender flavor. It's easy to make peanut butter such and such delicious, you know, but the honey lavender really stood out as subtle and outstanding. So I did love both. But that being said the tasteful and subtle approach is extra impressive. I live in San Diego and I have access to beautiful places and I'm often in New York City and used to live there etcetera etcetera and this is really the kind of place that has the subtlety and an artful way to it that stands out among the great places in bigger cities might have and do. So not being said this is a really excellent recommendation and it's across from the beautiful Little Squam area, and the whole thing is outstanding. The way prices have exploded these days this wasn't highway robbery and I just have to say it was truly enjoyable from my perspective.

Ice cream incredibly good but ouch I burned my arm on that copper metal counter top. I'd replace that with a different material if I were you. The family in front of us got burned too.

Really enjoyed my lobster salad and the ice cream was a treat, so creamy! Beautiful view.
Loved it! Its fun and educational for all ages. There's so much to do. It's clean, and the staff are all very friendly.
