quaint little Mexican joint that is sure to hit all your taste buds. I really like their enchiladas and their lunch paella is a great value at $20.

It's NOT what you expect from a restaurant that looks like a hundred other Mexican restaurants. Food is spectacular, with specials that change about every months. Wonderful soups, as well as salads with Mexican ingredients that we gringos might not have experience with. Highly recommended!

This is, hands down, the BEST restaurant around for Mexican food and margaritas. Their chef does an excellent job with the rotating specials, offering a unique gourmet twist on traditional Mexican cuisine. The entire staff is the most friendly and helpful group of people and the margaritas are always delicious. Highly recommend!

Very pleasant casual place with a fascinating take on Mexican food: you won't get duck enchiladas just anywhere, and for the record, they're superb. You won't go away hungry. Decor is cheerful. Staff is pleasant and efficient.

We had a wonderful first experience at Mexican Table. Our server was welcoming and very knowledgeable about the menu. We took his recommendations and were not disappointed in the entrees. The mole sauce was amazing!

We ate here yesterday (Monday, June 27th) for dinner. When we walked in, the hostess was completely rude. Didn't say "Hello" or "Welcome". Didn't look up from the computer she was working on. She just said "Can you PLEASE give me 2 minutes??!!!?" Then she said "Do you have a reservation???" Just looked annoyed that she had to do her job. Maybe she was having a bad day but I was ready to walk out already.
I ordered the steak fajitas with beans (not rice), no bell peppers, no tortillas, and EXTRA lettuce / guacamole. There are tomatoes in the fajitas, which wasn't mentioned in the menu. They brought me a small amount of lettuce / guacamole. And, they brought rice instead of beans.
Luckily, the food they did bring was ok. Not spectacular. Just average.
This is one of the few places open in Hockessin on Monday nights, which is probably the reason it was busy. I probably wouldn't return unless it was a Monday and I had nowhere else to go.

My opinion is if you're anywhere near this location and you're looking for Mexican food this is a must stop the staff is friendly and courteous and the food is awesome my only suggestion would be to make a reservation because sometime you can get lucky and walk right in but I strongly recommend that you call first.
