Bagels On The Hudson

I am a true bagel lover who tried most of the bagel joints in the city and oh man, Bagels On The Hudson exceeded my expectations. The bagel was super fresh so as the tomatoes, lox, cheese cheese, and onions. Despite the size of the bagel, it felt pretty light, not doughy at all. l truly loved it! The staff was super friendly and attentive. The inside of the shot looked nice and clean. They have two more competitors within a few block radius of which I tried O’Bagel, and in my opinion, Bagels On The Hudson is the winner by 1000 points. Better bagels, better service, better prices, better, just better. Come by to try for yourself. Share with me what you think! As for me, it might become my new go-to place for bagels over NY bagel shops! Great job, Bagels On the Hudson!

Was sooooo excited to come try this place and I’m glad I did! Loved that they’re open 24 hours because I was able to go in at 2pm and have my first choice available- usually this doesn’t happen at most other bagel places as they close in the afternoon! I got the Jilly G (obviously, my name) on a toasted everything. I believe they used American cheese, and they put the perfect amount! There was also a lot of egg. My only complaint would be that the potatoes were kind of cold and therefore chalk-y if that makes sense. So, next time I’ll probably get a sandwich without potatoes or I’ll try a cream cheese!

I have given this place multiple tries with many different orders and they almost always get it wrong. The product itself is decent, but nothing worth going out of your way for. After receiving bagels with the wrong ingredients again today (they seem to have difficulty actually even toasting the bagel when requested like many other users have said), I'd recommend trying one of the other bagel spots. To the owner, who responded below: Maybe I placed the order wrong? I've watched them write down the right order and it still comes out wrong. Take some responsibility - you seem to have difficulty doing that and blame everyone but yourself and staff, as I can see in your responses.

Bagels are very good but unfortunately the service here has gotten so rough that it doesn’t make sense to order from here when there are so many other quality bagel places in Hoboken. As many other commenters have said, they struggle to get your order right. Out of our last 4 orders they messed up 3 of them. Toasted instead of not toasted, or bacon instead of sausage. Never a big enough deal to go all the way back and get it replaced (which to be fair - they always offer to do) but definitely frustrating. The final straw was this morning, where, at a store that boasts to be “24 hours” they refused to take my order over the phone. We were up at 4am to go fishing and were told “too many drunks place orders at this time and never come pick them up so you’ll have to come place your order in person.” A legitimate concern, sure, but its not my problem if other people place orders they don’t pick up. I even offered to give my credit card and pay in advance and was told no. What an absolutely ridiculously policy for a place that claims to be 24 hours. We’ll be going to any other bagel place from now on despite this being the closest and most convenient. Save yourself the time and frustration and dine elsewhere.

This place is amazing!! This are the best bagels I have ever eaten! And I love bagels, I have eaten in a lot of bagel shops and this place is the best. Any time you go there, there is a line, the service is excellent and everything is fresh and delicious. If you in the area don't miss this spot! Also an excellent coffee! Cold or hot. Try the chocolate chips bagel it's very good
