The cupcakes from here are to die for!! I tried the strawberry cream cheese and the banana and chocolate ones. They were all really delicious! Very nice customer service too!

Absolutely delicious macarons and cupcakes! A variety of flavors for both options, plus there are other tempting desserts! The cupcakes are a little small, but piled high with yummy frosting. The service is always friendly and helpful, and it's a cute little store.

Courteous staff, rewards program, convenient location all add to the quality of the cupcakes and other sweet products offered at Cupcakes, Boom! Flavors vary with the season. This week, I purchased a peach cobbler cupcake to share with my husband in a nearby long term care facility. He loves treats, but this was something really special. I have purchased products from this store for a few years and they are always high quality.
The selection of baked goods has expanded since I was here at the beginning of summer. Customer service is always good. Very patient with us deciding on what macaron’s to take home to Honolulu. We will continue to let everyone know about your place and return every time we visit.

My best friend sent me a TikTok of Cupcakes Boom! So we swung by today and did not regret it! The staff were amazing and sweet!!! We got 6 macaroons and 4 cupcakes! We devoured the macs in the parking lot! Cookie butter, pumpkin spice, strawberry, Chantilly, and chocolate! So tasty! We will update when we eat the cupcakes!

Fun staff and a great selection of treats. My only recommendation to the owner would be to bring back minor discount pricing for ordering in “bulk”. $2.50 per macaron is fine, but $30 for a dozen is a bit steep.
Really liked the coffee cup cake, it wasn’t too sweet which is usually my biggest issue with cup cakes. Also had the stuffed cookie (Reese’s one) it was good I’m sure it would be amazing warm. I went later in the day
Fabulous !! I don't see how anyone can give a rating of anything but 5 stars. And to say the cupcakes are too dry - please - too sweet ??? It's a CUPCAKE !! The granola bars are to die for ! I live in Seattle and Nikki ships them to me, they are so good.
People - ignore the bad reviews - they're just WRONG !! If you're in Hilo, this is a wonderful place for a treat.
