What is better than eating at a sushi bar watching the chef prepare it front of you? Sitting with your friends or loved ones and your orders arriving on a little train within minutes of ordering it. The service was quick and easy at Genki Sushi. We had to wait at least 15 minutes for a party of 7, but it was worth it when the first rolls and poke bowls showed up. Having eaten sushi on the mainland in multiple west coast states and on the islands, I must say, Genki Sushi is some of the best sushi I have ever eaten. It’s a meal and a train show! Chop choo and chew chew! 🚂 🚂🍣🍣
Awsome employees, really cool concept. Although the seating is a bit firm and tight. Definitely best for a small group. I would like to see a bit more Hamachi and Tuna options. But good presentation.
Tasty, fast and friendly staff. Helped us because we struggeled with the Order process.
It was very good food, and the staff were very kind. Not a long wait for just one or two people. The main thing I wish they had were descriptions of each sushi roll describing what ingredients were used, but you can call a server and they do know the answer. Primarily you order by the picture of the item, and can order up to four items at a time. Sushi train delivers, but is not a revolving buffet style like I'm used to. Definitely a new go to restaurant for me.
There is usually a wait here. Not too bad when I go in but I don't go during peak hours. Quality of the fried items vary depending on the person making it. I've gotten some really old squid rings a few times. Other than that it's pretty good.
We loved this place ! Portions are a little small, but it’s more about the experience. It’s easy to rack up the bill here. You order food from a tablet/touch screen that’s at your table. Then a replica bullet train delivers the food to your table too! Lots of fun with kids! Takes a lot to get full here though. That’s my only issue. Otherwise, it’s awesome!
The food was good, and the service was pleasant. The ordering system has been updated to do it from your phone by scanning a receipt they give you. The site it takes you to is cumbersome and constantly refreshes to the main page when you back out of an item instead of back into the category you are in. Other than that, I would eat here again 🤙
Get you sushi delivered by a shuttle. This unique food delivery system transports your order right to your table after ordering from your tables ipad menu. The amount of your bill is calculated by the number of colored plates you’ve collected. The quality of food is ok but the experience is fun and unique.
Super fun place to go and have little shinkansen bring your food! Watch out though.... All those plates add up! But it's fun :)
Quick, high quality sushi and more at great prices. The small portions and small prices really encourage you to try a variety of different plates. They have more than just sushi too! Chicken karaage, sukiyaki udon, and a lot more on the menu, included daily specials up on the board. And of course, it's such a cute experience getting to order your food and have it ride up to you on a little train. If you're hungry and want a quick, delicious bite to eat, please check this place out. Even if there's a line outside, you don't have to wait long because the food comes out so fast (within 2-5 minutes of ordering).
