So good!! I placed a pre-order over the phone 2 days before my pick-up date. I arrived when they opened in the morning for pickup, and there was already a line forming. I called to let them know I was there, and within a few minutes, I was called in to the head of the line in the store to pay. The mochi was so yummy and glad I was able to bring back home a few. Would highly recommend. All the flavors were very tasty, but our favorite was the Oreo cookie (blue) one. 💙🍪💙
The strawberry mochi is divine. Everything is made fresh on site and was so good. We ordered ahead and arrived early only to find our order was not made yet. That is how fresh and yummy. We got a selection and wished we had ordered a vouole strawberry ones
The best mochi you can find in Hawaii! I love two ladies and always make a point to stop in whenever I am in Hilo. You really can’t go wrong with any of the options they have, but the fresh fruit are particularly special!
The best mochis outside of Japan! Well worth the trip! We went there at the open of the store and didn’t have to wait long.
Service is fast. You go in to place the order then within 30 min u receive it. So the crowd outside not an issue.

I was introduced to this mochi place by a coworker and I'm quite happy of the recommendation. Two ladies is very popular and I would advise calling ahead and ordering 2 hours before you plan to pick it up.
There's a bunch of street parking in front of the store and you can find it easily because there is usually a line out in front. The inside isn't quite big, but you can see the menu in the front and most of the employees preparing the mochi in the back.
There are so many great choices to choose from and I got a half a dozen of their famous strawberry mochi to bring home to the family and it did not disappoint. The kids loved it! The freshly made mochi with sweet Adzuki bean paste and a big ripe straberry go so well together. I would recommend coming here to try some yourself!
We called days ago to order the items we wanted. During pick up, you just call to let them know youre here and you dont have to wait in line long before they shout your name out.
The strawberry daifuku is definitely the best thing they serve. We tried their season pear daifuku but it was so hard compared to the mochi and didnt really fit. We also ordered flavored mochi. The coconut had good flavor but the lilikoi and momo didnt. They also gave me 2 extra strawberry ones and I was missing the butter mochi. Not complaining haha. Next time I would only get the strawberry daifuku.
The prices are also not updated on their pages. The flavored ones were $1.50 and not $0.90.

this place is incredible !! It can be pouring rain and people will be standing outside in a line for a few mochi's.
whenever I am in Hilo, I make sure to pick up a box or 2 of these wonderful treats.
I grew up pounding, making, enjoying mochi at Wahiawa Hongwanji so I understand the hard work that goes into each little piece.
The mochi at Two Ladies is soft , perfectly sweet and SO DELICIOUS when it's fresh. I haven't ever tasted better Quality mochi.

Beautifully made and soulful tasting products. I opted for the assortment so I could taste most everything. Be very prepared to wait even if you called in your order as the line can get silly long. It'll still be worth it! They make absolutely uniquely great omiyage. Make time for this stop on your next visit. Don't forget to buy their cool logo bag too! 😉🤙✌️
