On July 1, 2023, three of us embarked on a mission to eat musubi at all 12 L&L locations on the Big Island. This was our 7th stop on our journey and it was a perfectly fine experience. Service was nice... when she finally acknowledged my presence, the food was hot and tasted exactly how it should, and the restaurant was no cleaner than one should expect from an L&L.
I have been to this location before our 11+ hour endeavor this day, and I enjoyed my experience here. It is safe to say that I would go back here again, and I far greater prefer this Hilo location over the mall food court location by Walmart.
This L&L scored right in the middle of the pack, not great, not bad, just an average L&L experience.

Alittle run down and basically a whole in a corner BUT the service was great and quick, I ordered a platter for a birthday party and it was ready within 10 minutes🙌🏽 Very limited parking and the rush for lunch was just heading in, with just one counter-girl, she killed it💯

Hawaiian plate Kalua pork and cabbage was delicious, rice sides and Mac salad as well. I also ordered 2 Spam musubi, which were well made and tasty. Lots of items to choose from, cozy seating area. Off the beaten path for tourists, but worth the walk from the main strip.

Haven't been here for over 9 years everything is different it's kinda run down but the service and the food was good I ordered a steak plate special it was about 10 bucks which is a deal nowadays for a lunch! Not too much food but just enough. I will be back for lunch again also had a great conversation with an older local lady that was nice. God is good!
If you into katsu or beef broccoli and cake noodle this is the spot one of my favorite spots now to grind choke food for 11 bucks!! Had to add this info for you guys who love to grind!! Till next time in search for the best ono choke grinds for da buck ahui hou!!
