Smashburger

This location is centrally located off of University Blvd in Highlands Ranch. It is super clean, very nice set up, with a very courteous staff. This facility also is following the CDC guidelines ensuring that all employees and customers are wearing their mask with social distancing being applied. The burgers are awesome and highly recommend this place. Follow me and my journey while establishing critical reviews.

Love the food but the service is horrible. For the second consecutive time, I have walked in and there is nobody there. No cooks, no cashier, no manager.. absolutely nobody. I stood there for over 10 min and finally a cook walked out and saw me, he immediately went to the back and then more employees appeared. This was at 7 pm both times. As I waited for my food another family walked in and stood there. I looked into the kitchen and could not see anyone. The gentleman walked around and asked someone to take their order and someone finally walked up to help. As a side note, the restaurant was empty so it's not like they were just too busy to help. This sux because I really like this place and the food.

Awful customer service - was told at 12:05 that it would take 25 minutes. When I asked for all good I received a blank stare and a "yeah". No explanation, no apologies, nothing. Big FAIL on whoever manages this store. 2018 UPDATE- I ordered wrong and Cristina did me a solid and made it right - thanks @smashburger

Best Burgers around (for a chain). For a couple bucks more than fast food you get a fresh, delicious burger with a great variety of ingredients. We eat here weekly and their smash fries are my favorite fries around. Crispy outside, soft inside, and delicious seasoning. People hate on the service here, but they're just kids and they do try

I normally really enjoy Smashburger, but have only been to this location twice and surely was not impressed. The cashier was less than friendly. After placing our order, it took nearly 30 minutes to get our food. Once it finally arrived, the “server” rudely set it down on our table and once she was thanked, walked away with an annoyed “yep.” Fries were cold and almost soggy feeling. Really disappointing service. Only plus side to this trip, was the burger was really enjoyable, hot and fresh. Still not enough to make me want to dine at the Highlands Ranch location again.

The food is alright but it always comes super late, even when i am the only customer there. The workers are rude and dont create a welcoming environment. The last time i was there, the workers made fun of my partner's name and was mocking it with their buddies (my partner's name is mason, mind you). The employees have seemed to work there for a long time and seen to hate their job more and more each day. I don't know if this is just because of bad management or if they just don't want to be here.

I will start by saying I have been to other smash burgers, and I enjoy them, so I know what a Smashburger should be like. This was 100% not it. Their front staff was rude from the moment we walked in. It took an inordinate amount of time to get food, over 20 minutes. They said they were understaffed but there were multiple employees in the back talking about the fact that they were cooking their own food while we had to wait. Next when our food came out, I had ordered a big and my wife a regular. They were the same size, when I told their staff I was very rudely told I was wrong, laughable since I had a regular in front of me to compare food. To top it all off, half of my burger was fine, and the other half looked like it had left over char from the grill and was inedible. Seriously don't was your time or money on bad good, and rude staff who lie. Also their store phone doesn't even work, probably got tired of being called on their quality and shut it down. I will be opening complaint with the cooperate on Monday
