Great Service! Fresh homemade bread.Focaccia is out of this world! Grilled artichoke was very yummy 😋 Turbo stuffed with crab was delicious & scallops were prepared with a hint of garlic and seared well.. only problem was grit & sandy Swiss chard but comp dessert with great coffee made the whole experience delicious😍

Where do I start. No water for the table, only bottles (you have to pay for). Paper plates, plastic cups, PLASTIC SILVERWARE? Really? I understand with COVID there are certain new expectations and this should not be one of them. I have been to a few other restaurants and they all had regular plates, glasses and silverware as expected. And when they brought the steak out they said the actual metal silverware was a "special exception"? The one waiter there said it was just him and a cook, no dishwasher or any additional staff. And it shows, it was blatantly obvious that our food was prepared beforehand and just reheated. Look at the photo of the steak and tell me that's "medium rare". The waiter was constantly hovering over us as we were the only table there at the time, and then when we finished our meals he came with a plastic bag and started clearing the garbage into a plastic bag, reaching over us and under the table while we were trying to have a conversation. It may have been a slightly better experience if the prices accounted for all the things listed above but you're still paying 10+ for an appetizer and 20-30 for a meal that doesn't come with a salad. My family recommended this place as some of the best food they ever had and I can not advise against it enough. Reheated gross food, poor service and ridiculous prices for what you get. Steer clear.

My partner and I recently moved to the area and I can't believe we lucked out with such an amazing restaurant just five minutes down the road. The food is amazing and the service is warm and helpful. We've only done takeout but I can't wait to sit down in person! The short ribs with polenta is a favorite. We moved up here from food-centric Brooklyn and I have to say, The Would surpasses some of my favorite NYC restaurants in quality and flavor. Highly recommend.

I remember this place fondly from a family reunion dinner about 6years ago. It was when they served the food and drinks in porcelain and glass with silverware. This time around, I just had pretty good food, especially the lava cake, served on paper and plastic. They only offered bottled water that I paid for and my red wine in a plastic cup- so much for the planet and my expectations for a nice dinner out! I came here with the intention of treating myself but ended up feeling short changed and wasteful. The owner, didn't get her name, said they will not be changing the protocol anytime soon for fear of covid and being short staffed - no one to do the dishes. She said some customers bring their own silverware. I think, takeout and picnic style dining should be in the description for this place to lower expectations. Unfortunately, the prices are still at dine in with real plates, silverware, and complimentary water prices.

The food was excellent, had the Fish and Chips, Maple Glazed Pork chop, and several appetizers that me and others shared. It was cold and rainy Thomas put on the outdoor heaters and gave us blankets, all in all it was a good experience. But, You need to bring back Indoor Dining, Enough is Enough!

During COVID, dining has been radically changed on how servers interact with diners and the experience of eating out. The Would was amazing. The service was so thoughtful, Thomas went above & beyond - our group had so extreme allergies so he went and checked everything. The food was perfection, the sauces savory, seasonal options were unique and so easily paired with other options.

Disappointing Saturday night dinner. We’ve been to the Would restaurant at least 3 times in the last covid year. And had take out as many times in that year. I’ve always felt like they thought they were doing us a favor by opening. Last night we sat indoors and expected a change. Especially with only one other table occupied. With appetizers and entrees in the 15 to 30 dollar range I didn’t enjoy eating off of paper dishes. The fried zucchini flowers seemed like they were fried earlier and then heated up in the microwave when we ordered it. The tuna entree was not as usual . I’ve always remembered the Would food and service as being very good. Hope things get better but until then I won’t be wasting my money.
