After a warm scenic walk over the Hudson River, we came back to a heavenly, cold sweet treat. I got two scoops, one of Queen of Hearts - chocolate ice cream with swirls of fudge and raspberry filled chocolate hearts, and PB munch - vanilla ice cream with peanut butter swirls, peanuts and peanut brittle. It was like a chocolate covered peanut butter and jelly sandwich, and it was divine. Not too sweet, the bitterness of the cocoa and the saltiness of the peanut butter were the perfect combination with the sweet cream. Highly recommend.

After going to the frozen caboose for years this was a huge disappointment for us… No more Jane’s ice cream no more coffee Kahlúa calypso… Substituted with Perry’s coffee ice cream which was icy bland… Couldn’t even finish eating it… We have been recommending the frozen Caboose to people for so long ….it looks as if an end to an era has finally come… On the brighter side there’s a place on 44/55 called Fazio‘s barbecue and they still have Jane’s ice cream… Yay life goes on!… To the owners: if you decide to go back to Janes please drop us a note we would gladly come back! This was my second time here. Went here because my friend has celiacs and can't have gluten. The ice cream was delicious, many varieties and options. Friendly staff and clean bathroom.

We had a shake, an ice cream cone and a sorbet and they were all great. It's so nice to have a local ice cream shop rather than a chain. The employees were super friendly and their is outdoor seating which is nice.
