Chuck's Bbq

Great food!!! I only wish my sister would have told me about this place sooner. Everything was very tasty!! I got the pork sandwich combo with spicy bar-b-q sauce. My sis ordered catfish bites dinner plate with okra & Fries, & my nephew ordered blue gill dinner with okra & fries. Then they are friendly on top of that. I will definitely recommend this place & will be back when I come back to visit.

This is my 3rd time this week to try a different soup each day and they have been all Gourmet which honestly I didn't expect from a bbq place. Had; Sausage and chicken gumbo full of flavor but not very spicy Roasted red pepper and gouda bisque so creamy with tomato texture Veggie beef stew Butternut squash Had tiramisu and apple dumpling a la mode

The service was friendly. I ordered the brisket dinner. Two pieces tasted reheated from yesterday and the other two were too tough to eat. The side salad was good but small. The mashed potatoes were good. They seemed to be homemade. But to be called a barbecue restaurant, the actual barbecue should be good.

It wasn't terrible, but I was expecting more. We got beef brisket, fries, spicy cauliflower, country fried steak, mashed potatoes, and cheese filled pretzel bites. The brisket wasn't juicy, but it wasn't dry. It has a nice smoke ring and smoky taste. The fries and cauliflower portions were too small. The potatoes were under seasoned/under buttered. I included a picture of the pretzel bites. They weren't what we expected and my wife didn't like them. Note: lettuce, tomato, etc., cost extra for your burger. All in all, I wanted more and better for my money.
