For starters, I AM NOT a sushi person, but...I decided to be an adventurer and have a plate of bait. My opinion has been changed forever! From the amazing presentation, the deliciously fresh ingredients, and over 50+ rolls to choose from on the menu, there is something here to be loved by anyone. Price is great and the customer service (Alexis) was above and beyond. Definitely be making a trip back to dine many times in the future.
We had a delicious crunchy roll and lunch buffet. Everything was hot and fresh. Best Japanese restaurant I’ve ever been too. Last week’s dinner entree was hot and delicious too. The serving staff were friendly and attentive. One of our favorite places to eat. Deserves 5 star rating.
Yamato never disappoints. I’ve been eating here since they’ve opened and they remain as a favorite for me. Service is always friendly, presentation is always beautiful, and taste is always 10/10
This is the best food in east texas. I don't care what kind of food you like, the quality here will make it obvious. It's a must try. Then it becomes a must have. And completely affordable. First visit, I had a combo appetizer plate and 2 combo dinners with 2 soups. $50. Lie and tell me you can't afford that. And again, best around. No doubt.
Few people open a Japanese restaurant when Chinese is so popular- but I’m glad these folks did! The bento box lunch was Texas -sized and delicious. It allowed me to sample a lot.
Food was BOMB. Everything tasted fresh and the service was amazing too, very nice people and excellent food! Im coming back until I burnout of sushi.
Food is good. Nice variety on Menu. While I was waiting to pick up order they offered me something to drink. How many places do that? Prices aren't bad either considering how things are now.
The food and service here never disappoints. I personally cannot believe that it isn't busier than it is. Which is a good thing if you are wanting a pleasant atmosphere to enjoy your company, or just to have a moment of peace. The chicken and rice is very good. The combination is amazing. This little restaurant is truly a gem in Henderson Tx.
