Crossroads Hotel

We usually go here once a week,food is always great,But…last week when we went we got 2 beers,both with a 2inch head of foam,asked the bartender to fill them (nicely) then got a lecture at our table that they only fill to logo and lose money if full. OK,no problem,THEN 5 minutes later another bartender comes to our booth with 2 others following showing us pictures of glasses of beer and more lecture how they lose money if they fill the glasses.Going to miss the pizza and steak sandwiches.

We took the nice little ride from Doylestown to Hellertown Crossroads Hotel to check out this highly rated pizza spot. It was so good. Hands down probably the best bar pie we’ve ever had! This is on our list of top favorite pizza joints now! Our go to pizza joints are Angelos in Philly, Papa's Tomato Pies in Robbinsville NJ, Pizza Shackamaxon in Philly…. This place was awesome. Got to get it “chedge” style (cheese to the edge), well done. So good, but the pepperoni stole the show. They don’t use your normal food service pepperoni, they use a pepperoni from a butcher down the street (that the place has used forever) that makes this pepperoni just for them, and it is so ridiculously good….

The cheesesteaks are a tad overrated but consistently pretty darn good. Unfortunately, it's the antique wait staff that truly ruins the experience time and time again. They don't even bother pretending like they care about their jobs nor the experience of customers. All kidding aside, these truly might be some of the absolute worst waitresses in America today. With all the local farmland, they should be put out to pasture.

We ordered California chessesteaks, they were amazing!! A very generous portion, cheesy but not too much. The roll wasn't thick and firm- hard. Steamed perfectly 😋. It was a very busy on a Friday night, our order came rather quickly, 15-20mins. Atmosphere is very laid back, jeans/sweatshirt, whatever. Drawback is limited seating and it's rather chilly, one bathroom that poses challenges to anyone with a walker or wheelchair.
