Bella's Ristorante

The food was good, but they are in need of some serious help for the servers. They only had one girl working about 10 tables on a Saturday night by herself and she was completely overwhelmed. I heard a lot of people complaining about how slow it was. We were there for 20 minutes before we even got our menus or a glass of water, and then there was another girl standing by the hostess stand and was doing nothing except looking at her phone. I guess she couldn't take any orders or get water for people. I felt sorry for the only server there because she was running from table to table apologizing to people. It was a shame because the food was good but they are severely understaffed ever since it changed hands, I liked it better when it was Bella's

One of the most disappointing meals ever. We were very excited to try the Mexican menu. We started with chips and Pico de Gallo. These were good. Crispy chips and fresh Pico. For dinner we ordered chicken fajitas and American style beef tacos. These dishes were terrible. Nothing had any Mexican seasoning. The tacos were plain ground beef that was very dry in a soft shell. Being "American style " we expected crispy shells. The fajitas were brought out sizzling on a hot plate. Off to a great start! Nothing else came out with it. No tortilla shells, or sour cream or the Mexican rice and refried beans. When we asked,our server said that was all the cook gave her. !!!!! Eventually our server brought out tortillas and rice and beans. The rice and beans were cold and tasteless. We told our server about our disappointment but a manager never stopped by to check in. We will not be back. Our bad for staying in an empty restaurant to begin with.

We stopped in for a quick midday lunch. The calamari salad was outstanding, fresh and bright with a lemon vinaigrette dressing. Street tacos were double-husked with lots of character in the roasted pork, and the guacamole was very smooth but not too thin. Service was fast and friendly, too. Ella's was a great find, easily accessible, and definitely a place to grab a bite!
