Absolutely delicious steak, baked brie and cocktails.
Our server was very nice and offered us a different table with an umbrella for a little shelter from the elements.
Great evening
Came for dinner before the lumberjack show. Nice atmosphere. Friendly staff. Menu is small and upscale, mostly steak and seafood. We had baked brie, tenderloin and steak salad, all very good. Service was fast. Food came out slowly, but for the price you're paying, it's nice to be able to relax, take your time and enjoy the view.
The food and atmosphere never disappoints, in fact I always have a great time here. The tuna nachos, any fish dish in general, is absolutely delicious. Servers are always great, super helpful and friendly.
The only nitpick I have is with the bar.. with drinks around $10-$12 a piece, you'd think you'd be getting a decent serving of alcohol, but after 2 cocktails (particularly poorly made mojitos with sweet and sour and what I think is roses lime juice, 5 slices of lime, barely any mint, etc... which confuses me, because they used to be phenomenal) I could barely taste any alcohol, even in my Old Fashioned. Didn't even get a buzz lol. I will be sticking with water, beer or soda the next time around.
Food was pricey, $19 for a hamburger. Grilled chicken salad was good, service was good. I would go back, not too often, occasionally.
While it may be a bit on the pricey side, the food was excellent and the staff was friendly and attentive. It is a weird sensation, the whole setup and food quality feels like you should be in some stuffy setting, but the outdoor seating was nice but not pretentious. Oh, and go for ice cream next door to really finish off your meal. Overall a most enjoyable dining experience for the whole family.
Solid dinning experience had here. Our server was pleasant and was happy to answer typical out-of-towner questions. I had the baked Brie with the crackers and apples; would recommend. For the main I ordered the steak sandwich; would also recommend. Meat was prepared med. with a good amount of char. Also had the Moscow mule which was also well balanced. The menu is concise. The prices are slightly higher than nearby restaurants, but it does have a great view of the lake, and the overall atmosphere is cozy.
Food was excellent as was the service
