This place is no longer called El Cerro. It is now called La Patrona. It has been totally updated. Inside and out. Very beautiful. The inside is very well lit with many nice touches. The menu has been updated too. My food came fast and it was very tasty. Not a place that I would drive far to go but if I'm in the area and wanting Mexican food I would be here.
I loved this place. Unfortunately, it's no longer open. The family that owned it were so amazing and the food was authentic. It is no called LA Patrona

We attended a birthday at El Cerro and it was perfect. We were seated in a semi-private dinning area and the service was second to none. The food arrived quickly and it was hot. To help celebrate I had a margarita on the rocks and it was made to perfection.
The greatest service I have seen at a restaurant. I went here for my birthday and the staff was so friendly. My waiter, Yeyo, got the staff together and sung me the birthday song along with ice-cream! My primary dish was the El Cerro Especial. The steak and chicken was cooked and seasoned to perfection. I would recommend this place for Mexican food because the service is the best, the food is amazing, and the atmosphere is like Mexico.

EXCELLENT margaritas!!!! Absolutely bomb chips and salsa! We didnt eat a full dinner there, but from what we say, everyone else eating/smelled, the food was to die for. We intended to come back for a full meal, but didn't for reasons....but will return eventually
Super friendly staff. Our waitress was a sweetheart and my food was perfect. Everything came so fast we barely had time to eat our appetizers. She was prompt with refills and even stopped to make my 16month old giggle. Everything was clean, tidy and quiet. Decorations were beautiful. I reccomend the enchiladas supreme, all cheese and bean.
The food was absolutely amazing. I was expecting good food it was beyond great. My wife had shrimp and scallops covered I'm cheese sauce and I had steak and shrimp fajitas. Excellent food and staff. Highly recommended and I don't say that much
